We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Accessibility and Scheduling: We prioritized clinics that offer extended hours or prompt emergency care. A flexible schedule ensures that busy professionals and families can easily maintain their oral health.

Technological Advancements: Top practices use modern diagnostic tools and advanced treatment systems to deliver precise results. Equipment like digital imaging and same-day milling machines drastically improve the overall patient experience.

Comfort and Anxiety Management: Dental visits can be stressful, so we specifically looked for calming amenities. Facilities that actively prioritize a pain-free, non-judgmental environment ranked higher on our list.

Financial Flexibility: Understanding treatment costs is essential, so we examined available payment plans. Clinics that offer transparent pricing or dedicated membership programs provide crucial support for uninsured individuals.

Dealing with dental anxiety is never easy, which is why finding a practice that actively mitigates those fears is crucial. Specializing in IV (intravenous) sedation dentistry, Grandview Dental Care excels at treating high-anxiety patients while using CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) technology for permanent same-day restorations.

Their comfort-first philosophy truly sets them apart, featuring noise-canceling headphones and a certified office dog named Max to ease your nerves. I recently spoke with a close friend who visited this clinic, and they were amazed by the calming atmosphere that made their complex procedure a breeze.

While the patient experience is exceptional, the administrative side requires a bit of attention before booking. The office is specifically in-network only with Delta Premier, meaning out-of-pocket costs might be higher if you use other major insurance networks.

Pros

  • Comprehensive in-house specialty procedures
  • Advanced digital diagnostic tools
  • Tailored financial support options
  • Highly personalized patient atmosphere

Cons

  • Limited in-network insurance status

Customer Reviews

Dental hygienist at Grandview dental take the upmost time and care of my gums and teeth and they are very gentle. As for the Dentist, they are very kind and considerate and their work is absolutely phenomenal and also if you’re getting a crown, they do it right there at Grandview dental no more waiting for three weeks to get your crown.

Today was my first visit to Grandview Dental Care. I hadn’t been to the dentist for a while, so I knew that I had some issues, including concerns regarding dental implants.

After a very thorough exam, Dr Max answered all of my questions and we set up a plan for my treatment.

Everyone was very friendly and professional, they made me feel at ease.

I’m anxious to get started, I’ve found my new dental home.

Called in to make an appointment, and they were able to get me in that same day due to a cancellation. Everyone there were so nice and made me feel very comfortable. It’s like they actually care about their patients. Definitely will be going back.

Juggling a busy lifestyle means you need a healthcare provider who respects your demanding schedule. Conveniently situated directly within Easton Town Center, The Dental Center at Easton allows patients to effortlessly combine appointments with premium dining or shopping.

They operate with non-traditional extended evening and weekend hours. I have personally utilized their evening slots, and the transparent diagnostic process made me feel entirely in control of my treatment plan.

Finding an accommodating medical facility is refreshing, similar to discovering accessible mental health clinics that offer flexible support.

Notably, they use high-definition intraoral cameras to show you exactly what the doctor sees.

However, keep an eye on your calendar before confirming your visit. They enforce a strict 48-hour cancellation policy, and failing to provide adequate notice will result in unwanted penalty fees.

Pros

  • Same-day emergency appointments
  • Convenient weekend accessibility
  • Advanced ultrasonic cleaning tools
  • Specialized anxiety management

Cons

  • Strict 48-hour cancellation policy
  • Restricted insurance network focus
  • Potential penalty fees

Customer Reviews

I needed an emergency extraction done. They got me in same day. I was a new patient. I’m now a forever patient!! I was treated with the upmost respect. I’ve been afraid to go to the dentist because of a bad experience. But, every single person that works there , that I came in contact with, was super nice!! Thank you all to the staff and especially the Dr that did my extraction!! You ladies rock! God bless you all!!!

AMAZING! Best dental experience of my adult life. Of course, it helps when the appointment starts with the comments “everything looks good” after reading the x-rays. Staff, Hygienist, Dentist – all so incredibly kind, gentle and efficient. I cannot recommend highly enough! I had an amazing DDS who retired, then had the worst experience ever with his predecessor’s dad (also allegedly a dentist). I was hopeful I’d find a new DDS who provided a good experience. The Dental Center at Easton and its people were the best!

5. Emergency Dental of Columbus

Website: https://emergencydentalofcolumbus.com/

Address: 4034 Morse Rd. Columbus, OH 43219

Contact: (380)-600-9112

Hours: Monday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Tuesday – Wednesday: Closed

Thursday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Friday – Sunday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Dental trauma never waits for a convenient time to strike. Operating as the only dedicated full-time emergency facility in the city, Emergency Dental of Columbus guarantees same-day relief for urgent issues.

In a rare move for local practices, they offer an extended 12-hour operating window.

Their business model is structured to welcome walk-in patients immediately, identifying the exact source of infection instead of merely writing a prescription and sending you home. Rapid intervention is incredibly valuable when dealing with severe pain.

Unfortunately, their financial accessibility has certain limitations for some residents. The clinic doesn’t accept Medicaid or CareSource, which heavily restricts care options for vulnerable patients relying on those specific programs.

Pros

  • Extended 12-hour operating window
  • Immediate walk-in patient access
  • On-the-spot restorative repairs
  • Direct pain source identification

Cons

  • Excludes Medicaid and CareSource programs
  • Strict age-based guardian requirements
  • Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Customer Reviews

They got me in and out! Shout out the entire team. Kennedy and Tameka are especially lovely and Dr. Mahmoud is so kind. They took care of me and made sure to hear my anxiety. For a solid month I struggled with my wisdom tooth and they were able to get me together.

Shardae was so patient with me, held my hand and reassuring for my extreme anxiety for my procedure. She was calming, open to answering all of my tons of questions and willing to discuss my holistic preferences so I could have a plan that catered well to me personally. And I hadn’t eaten in 3 days bc of my tooth pain and she brought me some food and a drink. I’m so thankful for her compassion and going above and beyond to being me a blanket, tissues and anything else I needed. Very thankful! She was a God send 🙏
