Splash Laundry is a popular laundromat with five branches across the Columbus area. It offers high-efficiency machines in a range of sizes, from 20 lbs to 120 lbs.
The turnaround seems reliable as well. If you drop off before 10 AM, you can pick up the same day. Any later than that will be taken care of by the next day or within 48 hours on weekends.
Of course, it’s much faster for the self-service option, with wash and dry cycles going around 30-35 minutes, depending on the settings. They have free Wi-Fi, so you won’t get bored while waiting for your laundry.
Though pricing depends on the location, many regulars say it’s pretty affordable and that you can pay with coins or contactless. They also have a loyalty card system that gives bonuses for regulars.
However, the experience can vary by location. Some branches get crowded on weekends, while others occasionally have issues with loitering.

Laundromax has been around since 1996 and is available in multiple locations in the area. It’s more of a self-service laundromat, but they also offer wash-n-fold services with a typical turnaround of 24 to 48 hours.
Each location features more than 100 machines with different load limits, and they are card-operated. These same cards can also be used to earn rewards and unlock special deals.
We also like that the facilities are well-equipped for self-service customers. There’s WiFi, free parking, and even vending machines for a quick snack while waiting.
Some customers mentioned that they’re a little pricey, but many of them take advantage of the after-hours discount. In some branches, like Sullivant Ave., they operate for 24 hours, and prices are cut in half from midnight until around 6 to 7 AM.
Pickup and delivery are also free at select Columbus spots, depending on the location.

Columbus Express Laundry is the kind of spot that many regulars would like to gatekeep (jokingly, of course). According to them, the place is clean, affordable, and doesn’t get crowded a lot.
The place is family-run, so we get the impression that there’s a more personal touch to how things are handled, like small requests being remembered.
They even offer a variety of services besides the regular wash-n-fold and self-service laundry, including dry cleaning, pressing, and commercial washing. Prices start at $1.60 per lb, with a minimum of 15 lbs for wash-fold drop-off.
Plus, turnaround is usually within the next day, but same-day service is also available (except weekends) with an extra charge. On top of that, they offer free delivery for select areas.
However, there appear to be occasional issues with the machines. While these are not common, a few customers have reported malfunctions, such as leaks and units being temporarily out of order.

The place previously went through a period of poor maintenance. However, since the new ownership took over, many customers have noticed significant improvements, particularly in cleanliness and equipment quality.
We also like the small touches they’ve put in the place to make waiting less boring. There’s free Wi-Fi, vending machines, and even a lottery machine.
But despite these new changes, prices remain affordable. The self-service option ranges from $3.50 (10 lbs) to $12 (80 lbs), while drop-off wash-and-fold services start at $1.50 per lb.
Customers can pay via cash and coins, cards, mobile app payments, and even cryptocurrency! (thanks to their Bitcoin ATM on site).
Overall, we think it’s a nice laundromat. However, there have been occasional reports of rude employees, though these seem to be infrequent.

While many customers cited that Ross Cleaners is a little expensive, the service is still pretty popular among professionals and families who need that extra convenience on laundry day.
