1. AHF Wellness Center – Columbus

Website: https://freestdcheck.org/
Address: 1230 North High Street
Contact: 614 291 2680
Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Getting tested for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), sometimes called sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), or human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) should never feel out of reach. That is where AHF Wellness Center really helps.
Here, testing is completely free, and they don’t ask for health insurance, which makes routine sexual health care much easier to access.
I also like that the visit stays simple. It’s walk-in only, most appointments take about 30 minutes, and results usually come back in three to seven business days.
They also make it straightforward to ask about pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) if that’s part of your care plan.
However, this isn’t the place for a full preventive physical or broad wellness panel, and walk-in-only care can mean waiting during a busy rush.
Comfortable and professional experience
I had a very comfortable and professional experience with Princess. She was able to draw blood quickly and painlessly. I enjoyed the professionalism of the staff overall and felt very taken care of. Will be back for my routine testing and highly recommend anyone looking for free STI testing and or PrEP medication to please go to this clinic. Did I mention it was free (in this economy BLESS). They also have a pharmacy so don’t worry about sending your meds or treatments to get filled somewhere else.

Address: 6431 Alum Creek Drive Suite E, Groveport
Contact: 614 409 9606 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Coordinating employee health and safety compliance can become a logistical mess, but Corporate Health Testing brings the process directly to your facility.
This service shines because of the mobile setup, which includes private, soundproof booths for hearing tests rather than crowded group vans. Plus, their team covers most of Ohio and offers transparent pricing, including nationwide drug screening for $52.
I spoke with a local manager who used their mobile services, and he liked that the team handled Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals and electrocardiograms (ECGs) without employees having to leave the lot.
For workplaces also dealing with injury prevention, that kind of support can pair well with care from specialized kinesiologists.
Just keep in mind that this is a business-to-business service. Individuals can’t drop by for personal check-ups.
It’s also worth noting that their mobile units require a large, level parking area if you’re thinking of hiring them for your company.
Fast and courteous service
Great experience. This is the only place I’ve ever used for my DOT Physical. This is my 4th year using this place and it’s always fast and courteous service. Plus you can’t beat the $69 price for self pay.

3. iMed Urgent Care (Columbus)

Website: https://imedurgentcare.com/
Address: 3331 East Broad Street
Contact: 614 456 7296 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday, 9:00 AM – 8:30 PM; Tuesday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Finding time for a routine check-up during a packed workweek is tough, which is why iMed Urgent Care is a practical option.
You don’t need an appointment here, and the extended evening and weekend hours make it easier to fit screening into a real schedule.
The clinic also clearly lists self-pay options, including a $45 sports physical, so you have a better idea of the cost before walking in.
On-site lab testing is another big plus because basic bloodwork can be done without a second stop. They also have United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) approved surgeons for immigration exams.
The downside is that wait times can spike when urgent care gets crowded, and some screening extras, like chest X-rays, are billed separately.
This is the place to go
If you need a Dot physical this is the place to go. No worries they will take care of you drivers the lady who did the physical today her name is Suprina was awesome! I will definitely be back for my next Dot physical.

They took care of me like I was their family
Summers and Barbara both of them were very professional and polite. They took care of me like I was their family. They got me in and out with no problems. The exam room and bathroom was clean. I recommend everyone to come here. And thanks to Sumera and Barbara both of you were the best.

4. OhioHealth Eastside Health Center

Website: https://www.ohiohealth.com/

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Navigating a large hospital for basic lab work can feel exhausting, so OhioHealth Eastside Health Center is helpful because many services are under one roof.
Here, you can see a primary care provider, get lab work drawn, and access advanced imaging like magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or computed tomography (CT) scans, all in the same location.
They also house rehabilitation services and the OhioHealth Mothers’ Milk Bank, which gives the center a broader health-care feel than a basic lab stop.
A close friend had her annual physical there and liked how smoothly her results showed up in the patient app. The experience reminded me of how valuable coordinated care can be at local mental health clinics, too.
The main drawback is location and schedule, though. It’s not the easiest choice for west-side residents, and the standard daytime hours won’t work for late-night or Sunday lab needs.
Fast and easy
I went here to get blood work done at the laboratory and it was fast and easy. The icing on the cake was Ebony, the girl that worked there that took my blood. She kept me cool and was funny. She really took care of me and I was in and out quick.

Nice and clean throughout
I go for physical therapy and to get my blood work done. Nice and clean throughout. Physical therapy equipment, check-in process, and staff are great. Lab staff works hard on causing no pain during the needle injection and I have rolling veins or sometimes they go to the back of my hand. Great ladies.

5. Craft Body Scan

Website: https://www.craftbodyscan.com/
Address: 535 Reach Boulevard Suite 100
Contact: 614 683 3245
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Craft Body Scan is built around proactive early detection, so it works best for people who want deeper screening before symptoms appear.
They use low-dose CT scanners to detect hidden irregularities, and this can be done without a doctor’s referral, making the process a breeze. The process is non-invasive, and they even offer a virtual alternative to traditional colonoscopy screening.
Plus, every scan also goes through an extensive double-review process by certified providers.
I also like how direct the pricing feels for an elective service. They advertise options like a $149 couples scan, while full-body prices stay lower than many traditional medical center rates.
The catch is that health insurance rarely covers elective screenings, so you’ll likely pay out of pocket. Low-dose imaging also still involves some ionizing radiation exposure, which is worth discussing with your primary care provider before you book.
Detailed and helpful
My wife and I purchased a package of scans after a recent consultation and each had our first scan completed. Within a week or so, we had full results which were detailed and helpful, not only for peace of mind, but for discovering where we might need to focus with our health care providers. The facility was clean, staff friendly, and the scan is very quick. We consider Craft Body Scans a good investment in our health!
