One of my favorite weekend activities is watching my friend do poetry slams. But recently, she struggled with stage anxiety before every performance.
That made her start drinking all sorts of calming teas. She also practiced in front of the mirror for many hours, but that only made her more and more self-critical.
She soon wondered if a psychotherapist could help her. But as she had limited free time, she wanted a quicker or more focused option at the moment. She eventually found out about hypnotherapy services in Columbus and wanted to try them first.
Still, she was nervous about choosing a clinic, so she asked me to gather the best ones. After much research, I have made a reliable list. So if you are also struggling with focus or habits, feel free to check our list.
How much does hypnotherapy cost in Columbus?
Hypnotherapy in Columbus typically costs between $100 and $250 per session. The final fees depend on the therapist’s experience, format (virtual or remote), session duration, and discounts.
1. Christie Casaday

Address: 5650 Blazer Pkwy Ste. 163, Dublin, AmeriCenter of Dublin
Contact Details: +1 614 853 1003
Business Hours:
- Mon-Sat: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Sun: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Highly experienced hypnotist Christie Casaday’s clinic stands out for its solo-practitioner model. She helps clients achieve their long-term goals through traditional techniques.
She graduated from the Cincinnati Columbus Academy of Hypnosis and has practiced professionally since 1993. This gives her over 33 years of hands-on experience that we reckon few local rivals can match in depth.
We also believe that her active membership in groups such as the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association and the National Guild of Hypnotists shows her commitment to ethical, evidence-based standards.
Service-wise, she provides hypnosis for health issues, body-mind-spirit integration, and others tailored to individual needs.
Conveniently, this clinic offers custom high-quality MP3 audio recordings of your session for home reinforcement.
And while this spot doesn’t publicly list its flat rates, a former client we spoke with described the services here as more expensive than other local options.
She listens deeply and tailors the work with so much skill
“Working with Christine Cassaday was truly incredible. She doesn’t just do hypnotherapy — every session is created specifically for what you need. She listens deeply and tailors the work with so much skill.”

If you are thinking about hypnotherapy and wonder if it works….the answer is yes it does!!! This was my first experience with hypnotherapy and now the standard baseline will always be compared to the Christie Hypnotherapy experience. Just make the appointment you will not be disappointed.”

2. Peak Performance Hypnosis

Contact Details:

Business Hours:
- Mon-Fri: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
- Sat-Sun: Closed
Peak Performance Hypnosis stands out with its free 15-minute consultations and worldwide client reach via Zoom, unlike many local in-office-only spots.
Since 2000, they have been focusing on aligning conscious and subconscious minds to drive real action on goals clients know but struggle to start.
To achieve this, owner and certified professional hypnotist Jeffrey Richards brings over 25 years of local practice plus training on 3 continents. This lets him claim world-renowned expertise in performance hypnosis.
He’s also a trainer for Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)—a set of tools and techniques for analyzing how we think, communicate, and behave. On top of that, he’s the director of hypnosis standards for the Hypnosis World organization.
As for their rates, they generally align with the mid-to-high end of the Columbus market. Estimated rates go from $100 to over $250 for sports and corporate clients.
It’s also great for us that they put a strong emphasis on results-based packages over per-hour billing. This way, you will know the total cost upfront.
Still, their services are quite niche. Keep in mind that they specifically cater to athletes through mental coaching and entrepreneurs with impostor syndrome or sales blocks.
I had my first break ever and have had no nightmares to this date
“I went to Peak Performance with an open mind when there was nowhere to turn for my life-long issue of dealing with constant nightmares effecting my sleep every night. In just a number of sessions I had my first break ever and have had no nightmares to this date. I def recommend giving hypnosis here a try if you feel like you have tried everything and nothing else has worked!”

3. Columbus Ohio Hypnosis

Business Hours:
- Tue-Thu: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
- Fri: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Sat-Sun: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Mon: Closed
What sets Columbus Ohio Hypnosis apart is their multiple offices, with a team of 4 Master Hypnotists. They each have over 2,000 training hours from Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI) in Los Angeles, the only accredited US hypnotherapy college.
Founded in 2007 by Chel Hamilton, they are highly skilled in team depth and broad issue coverage. They deal with over 30 different phobias and traumas, which we reckon beats several solo hypnotists on selection and experience.
Besides those, you can rely on them for anxiety, addictions, public speaking, and more. For these, the staff charges around $180 to $220 per session, which is around mid-to-high range in the city.
Not only that, but we also appreciate that they offer discounts for key groups like teachers, veterans, and health and social workers.
However, note that not all staff accept smoking clients. For example, Tonya Groves doesn’t do well due to her chemical sensitivities.
Well-versed in this field, and the experience has been great
“Please visit Jennifer if interested in life coaching, therapy and hypnosis. She is well versed in this field and the experience has been great. Five +++++ stars.”
-Larry Bales, Google Review
Completely comfortable and safe
“I had been dealing with issues privately for over three years. I heard great things about hypnotherapy and made the decision to give it a try. I did 3 sessions with Tonya. She makes you feel completely comfortable and safe. I wish I had done it earlier. It has changed my life, I will always be in debt to her for helping me the way she did. If you’re struggling with anything in life, reach out to them…they’re awesome”

4. Revitalize You

Address: 2550 Corporate Exchange Dr, Suite 100
Contact Details: +1 614 245 5119
Business Hours: Daily: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
Formerly known as Columbus Therapy and Hypnosis, Revitalize You combines traditional (or talk) therapy with hypnosis for broader mental support.
They offer individual, couples, and family sessions. For us, this setup is rarer among pure Columbus hypnosis clinics.
This practice was founded by Yvonne Judge, a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified clinical hypnotherapist. You can get assistance with issues like smoking cessation, chronic pain, and anxiety.
We are also impressed that they use research-backed assessments, like Prepare/Enrich, to map out a couple’s strengths and growth areas. Another one is called SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) to help them understand their social DNA.
In a single session, a practitioner can easily pivot between EMDR, the Gottman Method, and hypnosis based on what you need.
Just keep in mind that their team charges around $80 to $300, depending on whether you’re seeing a grad student or a senior therapist.
They don’t take insurance directly either. They advocate for private pay to ensure 100% confidentiality and freedom from restrictive medical necessity diagnoses.
But to make things easier, they provide financing through Affirm for up to 36 months. We think this makes higher cost-trauma or marriage intensives more accessible.
Relieved my stressed levels
“I suffered from a few issues that I knew needed to be adjusted and hearing about hypnotherapy, decided to give it a try. Yvonne Judge was my therapist and while we only worked for a few months, I felt an overwhelming need to complete a novel, and improve my writing skills (and still do). She also assisted me in accepting other personal aspects, that has relieved my stress levels. I am glad I gave it a try.”
-Antonio Perez, Google Review
Quickly put me at ease, and the process was fascinating
“Yvonne is wonderful! She quickly put me at ease. The process was fascinating. I was skeptical in the beginning, but my hypnosis session has provided me with tools to help me feel peaceful, calm and in control in stressful situations.”

5. The Sound Room at Polaris

Address: 8720 Orion Pl, Suite 336
Contact Details:
- +1 614 429 4491
- [email protected]
Business Hours:
- Mon-Tue, Sat-Sun: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Wed-Fri: 9:00 am to 8:30 pm
The Sound Room at Polaris is known for fusing sound therapy with subtle hypnotic elements, like subliminal positive suggestions and brain entertainment.
Their owner, Lisa Bushman, is a licensed professional clinical counselor in Ohio who launched this as an add-on to her clinical practice.
Beyond the standard hypnosis talk, it’s amazing for us that they use several handy tools. This includes 432Hz tuning (with unique healing properties) and binaural tones (offering different frequencies in each ear) that other pure hypnosis clinics skip.
But what we like most here is that they are considered a wellness experience rather than traditional medical hypnotherapy. This also makes them more accessible for group-based work.
Their rates typically go from $40 to over $75. For private group sessions (6 people), it starts at $300 for sound baths and high-tech energetic work. They can conveniently bring sound therapy to you off-site too, starting at $425.
But since their services are mostly group-based, we feel they might not offer the deep, personalized privacy of a solo session that some individuals prefer.
The sounds and vibrations were incredible
“My experience here was amazing, I was truly able to be guided into mindfulness and peace. The sounds and vibrations were incredible, I can’t wait to visit again!”
-Sunny Esthetix, Google Review
The overall effect was transformative
“Exquisite experience: the practitioner is a skilled musician who creates healing sound, sometimes soothing, sometimes intense. The overall effect was transformative. Highly recommend.”
