1. Composition Nutrition LLC

Website: compositionnutrition.com
Address: 4041 North High Street, Suite 100
Contact: (440) 591-8236
Hours: Wednesday and Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Composition Nutrition steps away from rigid restrictions with an individualized, strength-focused approach.
Their dietitian has hands-on experience supporting pro athletic groups like the Columbus Fury volleyball team. This background means you get strategies built around long-term habits rather than crash diets.
It’s also worth noting that the clinic works just as well for everyday people as it does for competitive athletes. I actually tried their text-based check-ins during a hectic work month, and having a registered dietitian a message away kept me accountable.
One thing to note is that they don’t accept direct health insurance, so you’d handle any reimbursement paperwork yourself. Also, advanced packages require a three-month commitment.
You can use a Health Savings Account (HSA) to cover the fees, though, which softens that out-of-pocket sting.

Starting to see and feel the difference
Audrey at Composition Nutrition is doing a wonderful job helping me re-program my diet and how I approach my food and nutrition intake. I am about 1.5 months in on her program and am starting to see and feel the difference!!

An incredible teacher
Audrey is exceptional in her role. As someone who hesitated seeing a nutritionist, she helped me understand why my current diet was not effective for the goals we set to achieve. Audrey is an incredible teacher, and the rationale she takes time to provide makes it easier to commit to the goals developed. Her calm and understanding demeanor are assets in helping get to goal.

Hours: Monday, 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM; Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM; Thursday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM; Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Lindsey Mathes Nutrition centers on a non-diet, intuitive eating approach to help you build a healthier relationship with food. Lindsey Mathes, the owner, is a certified counselor who sets aside calorie tracking in favor of tuning in to your body’s own cues.
Finding caring nutritionists in Columbus who truly understand disordered eating can take time, and this clinic fills that gap well.
The practice lets you choose session lengths from 30 to 90 minutes, and it contracts directly with many major commercial insurance networks. Lindsey also draws on her personal training background for grounded advice on movement and eating.
Just note that you need to give 24 hours’ notice for changes, or you’ll owe a full-session fee. Also take note that out-of-network deductibles can get confusing with certain policies.
Even so, the flexible sessions and insurance contracts make the clinic easy to commit to.

Not a one-size-fits-all program
Super nice and accommodating. A unique Nutritionist/Dietitian in that she doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all program. Well-acquainted with foods and eating patterns, Lindsey can pinpoint what nutrition plan would work best for you. She has also been a personal trainer for a while so she has a wholesome grasp on exercise and eating. Seriously, this is the best Nutritional counselor you could go with in central Ohio! And my understanding is that she can also work with you remotely.

Lasting changes for lasting results
Lindsey is phenomenal. I’ve worked with several different dietitians and nutritionists in the past, and my work with Lindsey has hands-down had the most lasting and positive effects on my daily and weekly diet. She was upfront from the beginning about the realities of both my particular struggles, and about lasting changes for lasting results, which I really appreciated (it was before my wedding).

A close friend of mine recently visited for chronic bloating, and the thorough 90-minute intake really turned her daily energy around.
Keep in mind this is a solo practice, so scheduling can be limited. You also have to finish some background homework by email before booking an intro call.
On the bright side, the single-practitioner setup means you get Adrienne’s full, focused attention.

Great guidance for a celiac diet
It was a little over a year ago that my wife and I first met Adrienne to talk about a new diet after I was diagnosed with celiac disease. Even when we moved, we were glad to keep sessions going via phone and Skype. Over the last year, I feel great, and I don’t think I’ve eaten healthier in my life! Every time I think about my progress, I’m thankful for Adrienne’s guidance and teaching.

Truly better than ever
Thanks to her ability to help me reframe my views and greatly increase my knowledge of diet and nutrition, my A1C is in the normal range for the first time in 10 years, and I’m no longer a slave to junk food. While the fast food industry is not at all happy with these developments, I’m feeling truly better than ever in most every aspect of my life.

4. Nutrition Empowered

Website: nutritionempoweredllc.com
Address: 4182 Worth Ave
Contact: (614) 300-0116 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Nutrition Empowered weaves clinical Motivational Interviewing into their counseling to help clients build real autonomy.
One of their lead dietitians holds advanced credentials in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) nutrition and eating disorder care. That focus means you get targeted support for complex hormonal concerns.
Their intake program includes substantial 55-minute weekly follow-ups to track habits over time. A friend who went for PCOS support said those regular check-ins kept her motivated.
Another plus is that enrolled clients also have access to body composition analysis at the office. I also appreciate that the clinic bills insurance directly and provides superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
The catch is that they run a strict four-day schedule with no weekend slots, so you’ll need to plan visits around the work week. Once you’re in, though, the weekly cadence makes steady progress much easier.

5. Fully Nourished Nutrition

Website: fullynourishednutrition.com
Address: 4041 N High St, Suite 402G
Contact: (614) 285-7674 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday and Tuesday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM; Wednesday and Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Fully Nourished Nutrition works from a weight-neutral care framework to help patients heal their relationship with food. Andrea, the lead practitioner, brings clinical experience from treating severe malnutrition in inpatient medical settings.
She tailors dietary support for mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). That inclusive approach extends to an official partnership with Project Heal to support fair access to treatment.
You can also save through a discounted five-session bundle compared with buying single slots. A coworker who saw Andrea said the supportive, no-pressure sessions made a real difference for her.
Just know that ongoing follow-ups are reserved for existing clients, so brand-new patients can’t pick short check-ins right away, and you’ll need to call your insurer yourself before the first visit.
For people who want compassionate, weight-inclusive care, though, that’s a minor hurdle.

Supportive and Caring Nutrition Guidance
Andrea was incredibly helpful to me in my nutrition journey. Her approach is extremely gentle, and she really worked with me to figure out what my body needed, and more importantly, how I could make changes in order to give my body what it needs. Andrea was careful to look at all aspects of eating in order to help me, including mental health and stress, and was extremely kind and caring in every single one of our sessions. I truly feel that working with Andrea has changed my eating and nutrition for the better.
