Pregnancy is beautiful, but I also know that there are days when every move feels like hell—even lying down somehow isn’t as comfortable as it used to be. Somewhere between the excitement and exhaustion, your body also deserves some extra care.
Getting a prenatal massage in Columbus can be a huge help, but it’s not something that you just book anywhere. It’s a delicate condition, so you need trained and certified therapists to do the work.
So, to make things easier, we did the research ourselves and found some of the most reliable providers in the city.
How much does prenatal massage cost in Columbus?
Prenatal massage in Columbus generally costs $50 to $150 per session, depending on the duration.

The place is well-known for its specialized oncology therapeutics, athletic recovery, and a vast list of over 25 massage types.
For prenatal massage services, expecting mothers can choose from a 30-minute, 60-minute, or 90-minute session. Though the full session is highly recommended, so that all pressure areas are targeted.
For this specifically, they use pregnancy-safe tables, bolsters, and pillows to ensure the mom and baby are supported and comfortable throughout the session. You can also add some extras like aromatherapy or hot stones.
These massages range from $120 to $207 and include their featherweight pressure level. You can upgrade it to a firmer or deeper pressure at an upgraded fee.
It’s a little expensive, but according to clients, the relaxing amenities and the luxury spa experience are worth the price.
The amenities are incredible
“I am truly blown away by how thoughtfully designed this beautiful space is. I have been to the spa for various services, and every staff member that I’ve encountered has been extremely professional and skilled. I received a prenatal massage from Mitch. I had been experiencing some pretty significant lower back pain, and I am no longer in discomfort three days post-massage! The amenities are incredible. You can truly make it an entire day experience, either your own, with your partner, or with your friends! A must-see in Columbus, for sure.”

It was honestly one of the best massages I’ve had

2. Massage Escape

Address: 5949 E Main St
Phone: +16148683336
Business Hours: Monday to Sunday, 10 AM–9 PM
Massage Escape has been operating for over 15 years, and is considered a top-level yet affordable massage center by its regular clients. What we like most about this place is that all therapists here have at least 750 hours of massage experience.
They do offer prenatal massage as part of their menu, alongside other therapies like Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and more. The variety is pretty wide, and they usually tailor it to your needs.
Their prenatal massage usually targets back pain, stiff shoulders, and cramps. Here, they prioritize gentle techniques while safely locating your pressure points. So, while generally accepted, they don’t really recommend the deep tissue method.
According to clients, the facility itself is simple but still comfortable and relaxing overall.
By duration, they offer three options (30, 60, and 90-minute sessions) with prices ranging from $55 to $120. Walk-ins are available, and they’re open from morning to evening, making them a convenient option.
However, a few patrons pointed out that sometimes, the session feels rushed, and the techs are talking/gossiping with each other during the massage.
I will be back!
“I had a prenatal massage with Tina, it was beautiful! She understood what I was communicating during the appointment and could tell where I needed more work based on feel, so I left feeling extremely relaxed. I will be back!”

3. Open Sky Day Spa

Address: 1225 Dublin Rd #125
Phone: +16144864520
Business Hours:
- Monday and Tuesday, 10 AM–8 PM
- Wednesday, 10 AM–7 PM
- Thursday, 12–8 PM
- Friday, 10 AM–6 PM
- Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM–5 PM
Open Sky Day Spa has been operating in Columbus for 21 years. It’s famous for its specialized treatments, such as Ashiatsu and Fire Cupping.
Prenatal massage, in particular, is also one of its core offerings. It’s a full-body massage that’s designed to support the health, circulation, and well-being of the expecting parent.
They offer it in three types of sessions (40 minutes, 60 minutes, and 90 minutes), ranging from $90 to $135. And if you are going to visit regularly, you can package it into a series, which will significantly lower the cost per session.
What we like most is that many of their massage techs are specifically trained for prenatal massage, so that’s another layer of reassurance that you’re in good hands.
Alongside these therapies, they also offer spa services, like facials, waxing, and nail care.
The only gripe is that customers mentioned the communication can be a little inconsistent, particularly when it comes to schedule changes.
I’d love to go again
“Feeling fantastic after my prenatal massage. Peyton did a great job and was absolutely nice, knowledgeable, supportive, and professional. Focused on neck, shoulders, and back (he found all the tight spots and the massage definitely left me feeling better and relaxed) in postures suitable for pregnancy. Light use of oil and supportive pillows- wedges, knee support available. Definitely recommend him to everyone, and I’d love to go again as well!”

I feel at peace
“Payton’s massages have become a necessity for me, especially now being pregnant. His technique is flawless and always gets out any knots. It’s hard for me to relax and calm my body, but after his massages and just peaceful energy, I feel at peace. So thankful! Can not recommend more!”

4. Elements Massage

Address: 6788 Perimeter Loop Rd, Dublin
Phone: +16144291592
Business Hours:
- Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM–9:30 PM
- Sunday, 8:30 AM–7:30 PM
As a well-established franchise in the country, Elements Massage has grown to have over 250 locations across the U.S. since its founding in 2006. In fact, it’s frequently rated as the nation’s highest-rated massage provider.
For prenatal massage, each session is highly personalized to address specific discomforts like lower back pain, swelling, and stress.
They offer this feature called The Elements Way, which means they will match you with a therapist who can cater to your needs. Not to mention, only the therapists with prenatal certification can perform this, which many moms appreciate.
Just note that if you are having the massage during your first trimester (under 12 weeks), a doctor’s note is required.
By pricing, a 1-hour session costs $139, while a 90-minute session costs $179. If you’d prefer a more experienced therapist to do the massage, there’s an additional fee of $10 to $15.
And the cherry on top here is The Elements Promise that guarantees you get your next session for free if you are not satisfied with the previous one.
However, having several locations means the experience can vary. For instance, some branches are highly praised for their welcoming team, while others are said to have a dismissive front desk staff.
I always feel great after my session
“Andrew is great! He is very passionate and knowledgeable about his work. I always feel great after my session and always look forward to the next one.”
- Becky Sater, Google Review
Very thorough with the process
“I had a wonderful massage by Victoria! She was very thorough with the process massage. She also paid attention to any details I had about any areas of my body. She was also very friendly and sanitary, and she also made me feel SO comfortable. She made my first massage experience great! The receptionist made sure to answer all the questions that I had and was ready to make me another appointment.”

5. Hand & Stone

Address: 6570 Perimeter Dr
Phone: +13803835310
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9 AM–9 PM
- Saturday to Sunday, 9 AM–6 PM
Over the years, Hand & Stone has received national recognitions, including being the #1 Spa Franchise by Entrepreneur Magazine for multiple years.
The place offers a wide range of massages, facials, and skin treatments designed for both relaxation and clinical needs. But they are pretty popular for their hot stone massage, which is used to melt away tension.
For the prenatal massage, the sessions are performed by certified therapists to ensure safety and comfort for the expectant mothers.
Their technique uses a lighter and more gentle touch than a standard Swedish massage, and usually targets lower back pain and leg swelling. Accompanying it with aromatherapy is possible, but they only use lavender for safety reasons.
Each session lasts 50 minutes, and you can choose from three levels of pressure (light, medium, or firm).
Pricing is competitive as well. For new clients, an introductory price of $79 is offered, followed by a regular rate of $129.
On the downside, there have been reports of overbooking, with some past clients experiencing last-minute schedule cancellations.
Hands down the best massages I’ve ever received
“Hands down the best massages I’ve ever received. I’m a dental hygienist, and I need massages frequently due to the stress I put on my body on a daily basis. The entire staff from the front desk to therapists is professional, helpful, and very friendly. I loved them so much that I purchased a membership. I recently had my first prenatal massage by Clinton, and he was nothing short of incredible. His knowledge regarding pregnancy was comforting and impressive.”
- Heather Deitemyer, Google Review
Made the experience great
“I had a massage with Gabby, and she was absolutely wonderful! I enjoy massages for general relaxation, and she made the experience great. Her style felt like she was pulling and pushing the tension out of my neck and shoulders. The front staff was also wonderful and welcoming. Great intro and exit conversation. Overall, I highly recommend this location!”
