We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Product Quality and Selection: We evaluated the depth of each inventory, prioritizing suppliers that offer high-grade luxury vinyl plank and luxury vinyl tile (LVT) over low-end mass retail options. It is crucial to look for durable wear layers and strong waterproof capabilities that handle real household chaos.

Staff Expertise and Support: We assessed the team's ability to assist both DIYers and professional contractors. The best companies employ certified professionals who can explain technical specifications without making your eyes glaze over.

Pricing and Overall Value: We compared local rates with big-box stores to determine who offers the best return on investment. This includes analyzing factory-direct discount structures, wholesale opportunities, and outlet clearance availability.

Installation and Service Reliability: We checked the execution of their end-to-end services, from the initial in-home measurements to the final cleanup. A great flooring experience requires smooth scheduling, transparent communication, and solid warranty coverage.

When you’re finally ready to swap out those scratched-up floorboards for something that can actually handle high-traffic life, finding the best vinyl flooring in Columbus becomes a top priority.

If you’re knee-deep in a full-scale kitchen renovation or overwhelmed coordinating with renovation contractors for a property flip, knowing where to find the right material is a huge plus.

After scouting the city and comparing local warehouses, I’ve rounded up the shops that offer the best balance of style, durability, and fair pricing. Read on to know which ones to trust!

Address: 1063 Dublin Road

Contact: 614-488-0334

Hours: Monday – Friday: 7 am – 5 pm, Saturday: 8 am – 5 pm

Stepping into this family-owned showroom immediately highlights their 50 years of industry experience.

Panel Town & Floors doesn’t just hand you a sample; their National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) certified specialists walk you through wear layers and waterproof ratings.

I love how they feature a handpicked, professional-grade inventory of tough, water-resistant luxury vinyl plank options.

Overall, it’s a fantastic spot if you want to avoid generic big-box store products and talk to someone who genuinely understands structural integrity.

On the downside, their customer service can feel a bit uneven. A few people have mentioned communication gaps with the sales staff during busier ordering periods.

Also, their trim accessories, like baseboards and quarter-rounds, sometimes show inconsistent painting quality.

Pros

  • Over 50 years of local family-owned experience
  • NWFA-certified staff offer technical installation advice
  • Premium, hand-picked luxury vinyl selections
  • Physical local showroom for accurate color matching

Cons

  • In-store communication gaps during busy periods
  • Inconsistent paint finish on baseboards and trim

Their customer service was superb

We were referred to Panel Town by Jim McCool, who beautifully installed our flooring. We had personal attention while making our flooring selections. During the installation we needed another box of vinyl planks. Jim and Brandon, the store manager, contacted the sales rep and was able to locate exactly what we needed.  Upon completion of the project Brandon notified me when another shipment of our vinyl planks had arrived and made sure we got an extra box that completed our order. Their customer service was superb and much appreciated. We would definitely use panel Town again.

The premium vinyl we chose is beautiful

We chose Panel Town for the flooring used in our remodel and we are extremely glad we made that choice. The premium vinyl we chose is beautiful, and the installers worked quickly and well together. There was a small issue with a few planks, and two very talented young men came out to remedy the situation. They asked me to observe their work and approve each step they took to replace the necessary planks. We will definitely rely on Panel Town for all future flooring needs.

2. Floors Revolution

Address: 572 S. Nelson Rd, Suite A

Contact: +1 614-203-7573

Hours: Monday – Sunday: 9 AM – 7 PM

If you want a floor that can survive pets, spills, and heavy foot traffic, Floors Revolution is worth a look. This local warehouse operates on a factory-direct wholesale model that cuts out the traditional retail middleman to keep costs down.

They handle everything from supply to professional installation across Greater Columbus. Their main focus is on stone-plastic composite (SPC) vinyl flooring, a highly rigid and waterproof material.

I actually called them up to ask about their delivery options, and the team was incredibly quick to map out local delivery timelines.

The main drawback is their hyper-specific focus. If you go in expecting a wide variety of traditional laminates or alternative materials, you might be underwhelmed. Their business strategy relies almost entirely on SPC rigid-core vinyl.

Pros

  • Factory-direct wholesale pricing cuts out retail markups
  • Specialized in highly durable, rigid-core SPC
  • Open seven days a week with extended hours
  • Full-service product supply and local installation

Cons

  • Limited product variety outside of SPC vinyl

 exceeded my expectations

I was skeptical at first, but SPC vinyl flooring has exceeded my expectations. With two kids and a dog, spills and scratches are inevitable, but this flooring holds up like a champ. The waterproof feature gives me peace of mind, and it’s super easy to clean. Highly recommend for families!

the floor installs with absolutely no gaps

I am so glad that we found Floors Revolution! The Alpine 2.2 SPC product exceeded my expectations for quality and Floors Revolution pricing is dramatically lower that the big box stores. The floor installs with absolutely no gaps and has a soft feel under the foot. I highly recommend Floors Revolution and the Alpine 2.2 SPC product for any floor replacement job that requires vinyl (such as installing directly on concrete slabs or on top of existing vinyl or linoleum).

Address: 2145 Stelzer Rd

Contact: (614) 237-3181

Hours: Mon – Fri: 9 AM – 6 PM, Sat: 9 AM – 5 PM

This massive Columbus East flagship showroom boasts one of the largest flooring inventories in Central Ohio. They offer an incredible variety of luxury vinyl planks and sheet vinyl to match almost any design aesthetic.

A massive perk is their Mobile Floor Source service, which literally brings flooring samples straight to your driveway so you can see the colors under your own home lighting.

I absolutely love their on-site clearance outlet for budget-conscious renovators looking for overstock deals!

But dealing with a massive regional company can sometimes lead to bureaucratic friction.

For instance, some customers have run into frustrating scheduling and coordination issues during the installation phase. There have also been complaints about project costs jumping up unexpectedly after the initial on-site inspection.

Pros

  • Massive Central Ohio showroom with huge inventory
  • Mobile service brings samples directly to your home
  • Dedicated outlet section for discounted overstock
  • Strong manufacturer relationships keep options vast

Cons

  • Notable scheduling and coordination hiccups
  • Final project costs can increase after inspection
  • Rigid refund policies during service cancellations

how great my new floor turned out!

I had a great experience buying my Luxury Vinyl flooring from America’s Floor Source! It was a huge decision for me to get new flooring so I was a little nervous about it. But I worked with Rich Barnabei and he took such great care of me throughout the entire process. It took me awhile to choose what I wanted because there are so many options but Rich was very patient with me. I am really happy with how great my new floor turned out!

had vinyl flooring put in the lower level

This not the first time I have used America’s Floor Source.  Another amazing job.  Rich, the salesman, listened to want I wanted and what the project was.  Suggested some great options and came to my house with samples that matched my color preferences and budget. I had vinyl flooring put in the lower level.  The crew removed the old carpet and pad, put in the new vinyl and quarter round and cleaned up the area.  They were friendly and very efficient.  Highly recommend.

4. RiteRug Flooring & Carpet Outlet – Columbus

Website: https://www.riterug.com/pages/locations/columbus-oh-flooring-outlet-store

Address: 4450 Poth Road, Whitehall

Contact: (614) 261-6060

Hours: Monday – Friday: 7 AM – 6 PM, Saturday: 9 AM – 6 PM, Sunday: 12 PM – 5 PM

Operating in Columbus since 1934, RiteRug leverages 90 years of experience and huge nationwide buying power.

Their Poth Road outlet is stocked with an extensive selection of waterproof vinyl options, and they frequently advertise next-day installation for urgent projects.

I went down to this location with a friend who was remodeling her basement, and the sheer volume of discounted closeout vinyl plank was pretty impressive. It’s clear that this is a solid choice if you need materials immediately.

However, their massive scale means you might struggle to get personalized attention if something goes wrong. Multiple buyers have reported significant communication delays when trying to resolve warranty claims with corporate staff.

There are also occasional complaints about installers arriving without all the necessary transition pieces.

Pros

  • Nine decades of local flooring retail experience
  • Massive national buying power keeps outlet prices low
  • Next-day installation options for urgent remodels
  • Convenient showroom, outlet, and online shopping

Cons

  • Warranty claims can involve long corporate delays
  • Installers occasionally arrive missing trim parts

feeling more confident in what to look for in vinyl flooring

Spoke with the GM, Mr.Darren today. He took the time to answer my many questions. He was very kind and helpful. I walked away feeling more confident in what to look for in vinyl flooring. I thought they were all created equal but not so. Can’t wait to pick out my new flooring😊

way to make special arrangements for our order

Love this company. Aimee went out of her way to make special arrangements for our order. They had a flooring product that was discontinued by the manufacturer. Their price was extremely competitive (lower than everywhere else we checked). Highly recommend!!!!!

5. Yoder & Co. Floors

Website: https://yoderandcofloors.com/

Address: 4668 Indianola Ave.

Contact: (614) 262-0765

Hours: Mon – Fri: 10 AM – 4:30 PM, Sat: 9 AM – 12 PM

For over 25 years, Yoder & Co. Floors has served Central Ohio with a distinct, low-pressure approach.

This family-owned shop on Indianola Avenue prioritizes a consultative sales environment where they actually help you pick pet-friendly, waterproof luxury vinyl based on your actual lifestyle rather than forcing a quick sale.

They also manage the entire project from initial room measurements to final trim installation, making the process smooth for anyone feeling overwhelmed by a remodel.

Another perk is that they service a wide radius, including Dublin, Hilliard, and Powell.

The only real catch is that their personalized, small-business service can come with a slightly higher price tag. A few shoppers have noted that specific high-end vinyl brands can cost around $0.80 more per square foot here than at larger mass distributors.

Pros

  • Local, family-run business with 25+ years of trust
  • Relaxed, educational sales approach without hard selling
  • Complete end-to-end project management
  • Wide service coverage across all major local suburbs

Cons

  • Slightly higher per-square-foot rates on top brands
  • Shorter operational hours on weekdays and Saturdays

we had laminate vinyl planks (LVP) installed

We’re extremely happy with our experience with Budget Carpet & Flooring as we had laminate vinyl planks (LVP) installed throughout our first floor. Everyone throughout the process was helpful, patient, and happy to assist… from the initial visit to view flooring samples and place our order, to a couple questions which popped up prior to installation, and the install crew was efficient and thorough as well. Our new floor brightens up everything and we couldn’t be happier.

did a great job installing vinyl plank flooring

Keith and his crew did a great job installing vinyl plank flooring in my kitchen and family room. They were meticulous in measuring and cutting the planks and the results were fantastic!  I really appreciated that, instead of installing the quarter round shoe molding I had purchased, Keith  took the extra time to show me that  the shoe molding did not cover the gap between the floor and the baseboard and together we came up with a better solution. Thank you Budget Carpet and Flooring!
