If there’s one experience that really humbled me to the ground, that was when I enrolled in a Pilates studio in Columbus, thinking it was gonna be, as I said, “hella easy”. Fast forward—I came home with wobbly legs that day.
My takeaway? Don’t let the “low-impact” label fool you. It may look gentle, but it’s gonna challenge how long you can hold your core and control your movements.
But I love that the city is full of venues that make this workout more fun (or more intense). With that, check out some of them here, and you’ll be surprised how strangely addictive it can be.
How much do Pilates classes cost in Columbus?
The cost of Pilates classes in Columbus typically ranges from $30 to $50 for drop-in classes. Meanwhile, a monthly membership for 4–8 classes may cost $90 to $230.
1. TREMBLE

Address: 889 N High St.
Phone: +16143248957
Business Hours:
- Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM–7 PM
- Friday, 6:30 AM–6 PM
- Saturday, 7 AM–1 PM
- Sunday, 9 AM–5 PM
TREMBLE is a prime example that pilates doesn’t always look like those aesthetic, breathing-focused videos you see online. In this studio, they combine strength training, cardio, and pilates in one session.
It’s still low-impact, but with a higher intensity workout designed to make students, well… tremble. Even regular patrons mentioned that the classes “never get easier,” no matter how frequently you join.
But we take it as a tone of appreciation, especially for those looking for a real challenge.
Every group session lasts about 50 minutes and is set to upbeat music to get your heart rate up as you engage in the routine.
Class sizes are kept small to maintain personalized attention to the participants. They also offer one-on-one sessions if you prefer something more private.
Facility-wise, the studio appears to be an upscale venue, equipped with high-quality reformers and fitness gear. They also have their own mobile app where you can book and find their prices.
Their exact rates can vary, but keep an eye out for their membership pre-sales and specials if you’re going long-term with them.
Got a really good sweat and workout in
“Man, where do I start! This place was amazing when I went. The staff was so friendly, and the place was so clean. Now for the classes… AMAZING. Got a really good sweat and workout in. Will be going back 100%. If you are looking to try it out! DO IT. You will not regret the vibes and energy!”

2. Internal Pilates

Address: 4700 N High St
Phone: +17348955126
Business Hours:
- Monday, Wednesday, 7:30 AM–7 PM
- Tuesday, 6:30 AM–2 PM
- Thursday, 2–7 PM
- Friday, 7 AM–4 PM
- Saturday, 9 AM–12 PM
If you’re looking for a more mindful workout, but still feeling that burn, Internal Pilates can be a promising stop. The lessons focus more on strength training, meaning you won’t stick to the reformer; you’ll also use weights, stability balls, and resistance bands.
Group classes here are intentionally kept small, usually just about five clients per session. With this, the instructor can give individualized and constructive feedback effectively.
For those who want a tailored plan—let’s say, beginners or people looking to support their injury recovery, the studio offers private and semi-private sessions as well.
Students appreciate the calm and supportive environment in the studio. They even mentioned that the personal trainer remembers your individual needs and modifications are always offered to meet your goals.
We also like that cell phones are strictly asked to be put out of sight during the sessions to keep the classes distraction-free and focused only on movement.
You don’t have to commit to monthly memberships with Internal Pilates. Instead, you pay per session or buy them in “packs” for some savings.
Group sessions regularly cost $30 per person, but they offer them at half the price if you’re a newcomer.
An inclusive instructor who is very encouraging
“I have taken about 10 classes, and I’ve had a great experience! Most have been with Lexi in private or beginner strength classes. I find her classes to be really challenging, but she is an inclusive instructor who is very encouraging and celebrates students’ accomplishments. I can tell she has a lot of pride in her work and loves to see her students improve. Personally, I’ve noticed significant improvements in my muscular imbalances since I’ve started taking classes with her. The studio place is also really nice, and I like that there are a variety of classes to choose from.”

I’m so grateful to have this safe space
“Lexi has created such a beautiful space and community with the Internal Pilates studio. Every class is so fun, different each time you go and intentionally curated so you’re never bored and time flies while you’re there. She also does a fabulous job guiding & encouraging us to modify as needed for our individual strengths and areas of opportunity while giving corrections in such a kind and inviting way. The level of comfort I have in her classes is unlike anything I have ever experienced at other studios and I’m so grateful to have this safe space to go to. The other instructors there also provide just as wonderful environments and classes!! I recommend and rave about Internal Pilates to every person I meet!”

Business Hours:
- Monday, Wednesday, 6 AM–8 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday, 5:30 AM–8 PM
- Friday, 6 AM–7 PM

- Sunday, 7 AM–5 PM
As a large international franchise, you’ve probably heard about this name. Club Pilates began in San Diego and has expanded to hundreds of studios worldwide, including several locations around the Columbus area.
The studio stood out to us for its unique fusion approach. The classes here use a wide variety of equipment—not just reformers—but also Exo-Chair, TRX suspension trainers, springboards, and more.
But don’t worry, they aren’t introduced all at once—actually, these are part of a leveling system that starts at beginner level to mastery.
And honestly, we like this structured path because it ensures that your body won’t hit a plateau. Not to mention it targets many areas, including strength, flexibility, and posture.
At Club Pilates, the monthly membership costs between $99 to over $119, depending on the number of sessions. They do offer an unlimited pass for $219—and according to clients, it’s one hell of a deal, considering that’s the cost for just 8 classes in other cities.
Just note that classes tend to get full quickly, so they use a waitlist to organize the bookings.
An incredible addition to my wellness routine
“Club Pilates New Albany has been an incredible addition to my wellness routine. I have been going for over two months and love it! The studio is clean and welcoming, and most of the instructors bring a high level of knowledge and positive energy. I would take an opportunity to thank the manager, Nicole, and to give kudos to Mindy, Maria S, Meghan A (sub), and Jill. Their empathy, patience, and energy in class are very appreciated. I shared with them some feedback from a new member’s perspective, and it was very welcome. Thanks for listening to us.”

It’s very easy to get into classes, even when on the waitlist
“I have been loving my membership with Club Pilates! It’s very easy to get into classes, even when on the waitlist, with a generous cancellation policy! Instructors are knowledgeable and friendly, with the studio and equipment being clean and in great condition!”

4. Lagree House

Address: 3504 N High St.
Phone: +16146361115
Business Hours:
- Monday, Wednesday, 5 AM–9:30 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday, 5 AM–9 PM
- Friday, 5:15 AM–7:30 PM
- Saturday, 5:15 AM–4:30 PM
- Sunday, 6:45 AM–8 PM
Lagree House is known for delivering one of the most challenging low-impact workouts in the area. It’s still Pilates but leveled up and with more intense twists.
They use their own Lagree Method, which uses a Megaformer machine to perform slow, controlled movements under constant tension (and yes, shaking is normal). Funny enough, even fitness enthusiasts find the experience “humbling” yet quite addictive.
Their signature Total Body Lagree is a go-to for many. But they also offer exclusive sessions like the “fit to wed” package for brides and grooms who want to prepare for their wedding.
Meanwhile, pricing depends on how much you want to commit. Intro classes can go as low as $10 for first-timers, while private solo sessions go around $75. Private group classes are capped at 16 people and may average $30 per person.
If you’re going to attend frequently, we suggest getting the membership to snag exclusive perks and discounts. They also offer in-house childcare for $7 per session.
The results speak for themselves
“I’ve taken 42 Lagree classes at Lagree House since signing up in February. After surviving my first class, I knew I had found my thing. Great teachers, great vibes, amazing workout and the results speak for themselves. I’m 8mos post partum with my second baby and I look better than I did before I was pregnant with my first. I feel better, too. LH fills my cup every time!”

Challenged me in the best way possible
“I had an amazing class with Alyssa at Lagree House! Her energy, expertise, and encouragement made all the difference. What really stood out were her hands-on adjustments — they were spot-on and exactly what I needed to push past my limits. She didn’t let me coast; she challenged me in the best way possible, helping me get deeper into the moves and maintain proper form throughout. I walked out of class feeling stronger, more aligned, and totally empowered. If you’re looking for a coach who truly cares and knows how to elevate your workout, Alyssa is the one. Can’t wait for my next session with her!”

If you get bored easily doing the same routine every week, Studio86 has something that you might appreciate. Their routines are constantly changing to target different muscle groups and keep things fresh.
They offer a mix of pilates with other low-impact workouts, like barre and yoga, for a more well-rounded experience. We like that they’re very friendly with people of all fitness levels, so you’re welcome even if you’re just starting.
The studio is actually one of the more affordable options in the area compared to other facilities. Their group class packages start at $125 while private sessions range from $55 to $720—depending on how many classes you’re getting.
Aside from the transparent pricing, they’re big on discounts as well. They offer special deals for students, new clients, OSU staff, and seniors.
They do get booked out quickly and keep a waitlist. But according to their clients, the waiting time is very minimal, and it’s not really that difficult to get a slot.
I really like the classes
“I have been attending Tramp, Pilates and Barre classes this month. I try to get two classes per visit and they are very complementary. I followed Tramp with Pilates and had my first class with Heather. I really like the classes, instructors, music/volume and individual attention. Wanted to suggest that another aspect that you may want to feature is the positive impact on pelvic floor strength. Essential for postpartum and for senior women, so we are not wearing diapers! Thanks for all you do.”
