Ever since then, I’ve been extra careful about where I take my pet. As much as I want to groom her myself, I just don’t have the time or the right setup—so the least I can do is find her a good and reliable groomer in Columbus.
Honestly, I still have that fear, but these salons recommended by my fellow fur parents reassured me that she’s in good hands.

At Doggie Day Spa, one feature that owners love (and honestly, us too!) is the self-wash station. If you hate the mess or your dog hates being touched by strangers, this is a great option.
And even though it’s self-service, it’s well-equipped with supplies (non-toxic, by the way) and even steps to help older dogs get in comfortably.
Besides this, they also offer a full-service grooming and a deluxe bath, where the spa techs will indulge your dogs in a spa-like experience. We’re talking about a warm bath, nail trimming, all-natural perfume, and more.
Your pup even gets a bandana at the end!
The full groom starts at $65, depending on your dog’s breed, size, and coat condition. It’s on the premium side, but you have the self-service option for a more budget-friendly route valued at $22.
Also note that while walk-ins are possible, they get booked out fast, so we highly recommend securing an appointment.

They groom both cats and dogs. And the feature that we like is that the rooms are separated to ensure a calm and stress-free experience.
They also offer a puppy package, where they gently introduce the grooming process to your pups.
Pricing depends on the size, coat type, and whether it’s a full-groom or just a trim. While not publicly listed, owners said that their services can be on the higher side. However, most of them feel that the cost is justified given the salon’s reputation.

One feature that we appreciate is that it’s a kennel-free facility. So, no cage drying and overlapping appointments. Your dog gets one-on-one attention in a stress-free environment.
They’re pretty strict about safety policies as well, like vaccination requirements, to ensure safety.
Pricing depends on your dog’s size, coat condition, and the services you choose. But according to the fur parents, they’re actually one of the most affordable grooming services out there.
Just note that they don’t offer their services for cats yet.

“My dog, Ozzy, loves to go to ‘Doggy Daycare’ at All Paws Retreat. He likes playing and socializing with other dogs. I like that it’s close to home and easy to access. The staff at All Paws are great! I love the photos they take and send to me each day that Ozzy is there. “We love All Paws! I originally brought Momo for puppy training, which was a blast, but I stayed for daycare and all their grooming services! We come frequently for Momo’s nail trimmings and I always let him stay for daycare because he loves it there so much! Their themed parties are the best and the staff is the sweetest! Pet Palace positions itself as a luxury care facility that provides grooming alongside boarding, training, and daycare. It’s especially designed to provide convenience for owners who travel frequently or have busy schedules.
For grooming, in particular, they offer full services to both dogs and cats, including haircuts, nail trimming, and coat care. They even use special shampoos that they specifically pick according to your pet’s fur type.
The facility is probably our favorite part here. It’s complete with villa-style accommodations, outdoor play areas, and climate-controlled spaces so your pet remains comfortable during its stay there.
It’s very much designed to give that pet vacation vibe, even if you’re just dropping them off for a haircut.
And despite the “luxury” tag, many owners find their pricing fair, especially if you choose their bundled services.
The only downside is that communication can be laggy sometimes, especially when it comes to letting owners know about changed policies, leading to confusion.

There’s no upfront pricing, considering the cost depends on your pet’s specific needs. Owners said that Teresa gives reasonable quotes and can even work on your budget as needed.
Just note that she runs a small team and operates by appointment only, so it’s best to secure your booking in advance.

“New to town, so I needed to find a new groomer for my dog. I was worried at first because he gets really anxious and does not like being groomed, and was so used to his old groomers. I found a grooming spot since it is very close to me, and expressed his anxiety to the staff at his first appointment.
