1. LifeStance

Address: 150 Taylor Station Rd, Suite 310
Phone: +16149862790
Business Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM–6 PM
LifeStance has been operating for over a decade and already holds an A+ rating from the BBB as of early 2026.
The clinic offers help in a wide range of mental health concerns. This includes anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other thought or mood disorders.
With a team of psychologists, psychiatrists, and therapists, their model seems comprehensive. According to patients, the team aims to address both the emotional and medical aspects of the patient’s mental wellness.
We like that they let the patient choose their own style of care, which may include individual talk therapy or group sessions.
And if you haven’t found success in traditional medication, they can also recommend innovative methods like the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
On top of that, we appreciate that LifeStance is an insurance-friendly practice and accepts most plans, like Aetna and Blue Cross.
However, they are not the cheapest option either. But with insurance and flexible payment options, about 70% of their insured patients end up with a $45 or less per session.
I honestly don’t know where I’d be without LifeStance
“I honestly don’t know where I’d be without my LifeStance Therapists. March will mark 2 years since I’ve been seeing a therapist there. My former therapist was amazing & my current Therapist Madeline, is phenomenal. Always encouraging my decisions, helping me with everything I’ve been going through! I would highly recommend going through LifeStance for anyone seeking therapy.”

2. Optimum Wellness & TMS

Address: 500 E Main St, Suite 130, Suite 110
Phone: +16149334200
Business Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 AM–6 PM
If your mental health condition is at the point where it’s already medication-resistant, Optimum Wellness & TMS can be a promising option.
The clinic is recognized as an advanced-technology provider, more specifically in its use of BrainsWay Deep TMS. It’s an improved method of TMS that uses a cushioned helmet for broader and deeper stimulation.
Basically, it jumpstarts neural activity to improve your motivation and emotional stability. Patients who had undergone these high-tech methods described the experience as surprisingly soothing. They said it’s more manageable compared to the older versions, which have sharper and more uncomfortable sensations.
These sessions often go five days a week for about six weeks and are valued at $7,500. But if you are a busy professional who can’t commit to the long-term plan, they offer accelerated TMS, where they condense it into just five days for the same price.
While they do accept most insurance providers, the Accelerated TMS package is unfortunately not covered by them. The good news is, it’s eligible for a payment plan through CareCredit.
This treatment worked better than I ever imagined
“I really can’t say enough about how great my experience has been. Not only do I feel better from the treatment, but the staff here is amazing. They are the nicest, most welcoming office staff I’ve ever known. I’ve suffered from severe depression my whole adult life with severe depression. I’ve tried meds that didn’t work, and the ones that do work, the effects seem to be good at first, then taper off. This treatment worked better than I ever imagined it could. I tell everyone I know about Optimum. I hope I can help even one person feel better like I do after my treatments. Thank you Dr Blair, and all of your staff for changing my life.”

I’m finally finding the joy in things I used to love doing, and life looks so much brighter thanks to Dr. Blair!”

3. Amalfi Mental Health

Address: 1020 Dennison Ave #200
Phone: +16147566027
Business Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
Amalfi Mental Health is led by Jill Pate, who is a dual-certified nurse practitioner in both Family Medicine and Psychiatry. She’s been recognized in the top 10% of OhioHealth providers and was a finalist for “APP of the Year”.
What sets the clinic apart is its focus on the “gaps” or some of the overlooked aspects of mental health. Many patients come here to seek help for issues like sexual dysfunction, decreased libido, and men’s health.
And not only that; we think it’s fantastic that they also have dedicated programs for first responders and the transgender community. For example, their “Amalfi First Line” is specifically designed to handle workplace trauma and burnout for the front-line workers.
For their gender-affirming care, the practice maintains a partnership with Reconstructive Surgical Arts to provide transitioning individuals with documentation and psychiatric support.
But we also need to consider that Amalfi is a smaller practice with a limited scope. For instance, they explicitly state that they don’t guarantee the prescription of stimulant medications for ADHD patients.
On the financial side, the new patient rate is $300, while follow-ups are $160. If you are seeing a therapist specifically, the rate is $150 per 50-minute session.
It feels like chatting with an old friend
“Jill has been great. She’s very down to earth and has made my therapy a comfortable experience. It can be difficult to open up to a stranger, but she made it easy, and now it feels like chatting with an old friend. I’d definitely recommend her to my friends and family.”

Seeing her has helped change my view on therapy
“Jill is a wonderful therapist. Very engaged and knowledgeable. She is always excited to see me during sessions and remembers everything about past sessions. Seeing her has helped change my view on therapy, as I’ve had difficulties connecting with therapists in the past. I highly recommend her.”

- Monday, 10 AM–7 PM

New Leaf Mental Health & Wellness was named a winner of the BusinessRate Best of 2025 award, which is based on positive customer reviews and excellent service in mental health. The founder, Andrea Balluch-Dean, has over 25 years of healthcare experience.
She and her team manage conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety for clients aged 17 to 65. Their sessions can be booked both in-person and through Telehealth appointments if you need flexibility.
What stands out is its inclusivity, where they also support LGBTQIA+ clients and individuals dealing with complex emotional challenges.
When we asked clients about their experience, they said that the care they received was thoughtful and attentive. Medication isn’t automatically pushed, and the practitioners will make sure the treatments they offer are culturally sensitive.
While the exact rates aren’t advertised, we value that they accept a wide range of insurance providers to minimize the costs. They will even coordinate with you to make sure you get the coverage you deserve.
Just note that New Leaf can fill up quickly due to its smaller capacity.
I’m very grateful for her care and guidance
“Andrea truly listens. From the very first conversation, I felt heard and understood. She gives thoughtful, honest feedback while remaining incredibly supportive, and she always takes the time to clarify things in a way that actually makes sense. You never feel rushed or dismissed—she makes sure you leave feeling confident and supported. I’m very grateful for her care and guidance and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who genuinely cares.”

The most compassionate and thoughtful psychiatric clinician
“Andrea is hands down the most compassionate and thoughtful psychiatric clinician I have ever worked with. She thoroughly reviewed my history before our first meeting and actively listened to my concerns. She frequently checked in while explaining her diagnosis and treatment plan to ensure my voice was heard. She closely monitored me after starting a new medication and was always responsive to messages via the client portal. Andrea treated me like an entire person, not just a list of symptoms. She is the model of how psychiatric healthcare SHOULD be! Thank you, Andrea!”

5. ONE Health

Address: 900 Michigan Ave # B
Phone: +16147450306
Business hours:
- Monday, 8 AM–4 PM
- Tuesday to Thursday, 8 AM–4:30 PM
- Friday, 8 AM–3:30 PM
ONE Health has been active since 1986, providing services for mental health, counselling, and integrated care. The practice appears to deliver excellent results to its patients, seeing that they have a high satisfaction rate of 76–86%.
Patients we spoke to described their experience as reliable and effective, with many also saying they would return for continued care. The appointments are straightforward, and the providers explain everything clearly.
They focus on common mental health conditions, such as depression, OCD, and PTSD. But what sets them apart is that they center their treatments on psychiatric care and medication management.
But they don’t just simply prescribe these medicines. They follow a structured process that includes blood work or genetic testing to see how your body will metabolize certain medications.
This approach really stood out to us. With this consideration, it helps avoid nasty side effects and see results more safely and effectively.
Financially, we like that if you are paying out-of-pocket, they will base the fees on your household income to ensure the treatment remains accessible for those uninsured.
We were just disappointed to hear that there are patients who were reportedly dropped out of their care without explanation or prior notice.
Welcoming experience with great customer service
“Great experience! I saw Sam today for my initial appointment and walked out feeling great! Sam is a down-to-earth provider who spends plenty of time with patients, making sure he fully understands every aspect of their health, so he can establish treatment plans that are individualized. I was in my initial appointment for right at 1 hour, which again was more than enough time to ensure Sam fully understood my health and goals, and to thoroughly explain treatment, expectations, goals, and what the future looks like with treatment. Also, the team who checked me in provided a welcoming experience with great customer service. Overall, I would highly recommend Sam and the team at One Health!”

I’m thankful for his patience and the comfort he brings to the sessions
“I’ve been seeing Sam for about 2 years now. As a woman, it’s very hard to connect with men sometimes, especially in vulnerable situations. Sam has been an amazing resource, keeping me grounded and allowing me room to vent and ask lots of questions. I’m thankful for his patience and the comfort he brings to the sessions. He always has something positive to say and really good advice. He is extremely personable and is able to keep it professional. I like that he constantly reminds me that it’s not about the diagnosis, it’s about treating symptoms, and I appreciate that so much.”
