Our gas fireplace started acting up after 16 years. We had Fireplace Services out who found parts to rebuild it and get it working at a fraction of the cost of new. It worked great for over a year then went out one day. I called them back and they walked me through buying the correct switch and tightening the wires to the switch. It wasn’t part of the original repair but I was able to get it working again for less than $1. They followed up with me twice to be sure the suggestion worked.

These people at FFP are good
If you asked FPP, they would tell you my fireplace repair was one problem after another for about one year. Nothing seemed to work including replacing the entire unit upgraded fireplace replacement that still didn’t light. But after a whole year and a two stage gas value replacement for a single stage which initially failed, the tech rechecked everything was about to leave and decided to give it one more try and he called to me and said … it works! These people at FFP are good … use them!

We had Blackburns come and inspect our fireplace and do annual maintenance as we had not used it since we moved into our home. Got exactly what I expected
Had a competitor do some work. Not up to par. Competitor suggested an additional $7k in “needed repairs”. Blackburn re inspected and told me the truth.
