I love getting work done here!
I’ve quickly become a regular at this coffee shop. Stumbled into it as I was driving by, and now I love getting work done here! Coffee isn’t too expensive either. Love the plentiful amount of seating (both indoor and outdoor) and fast WiFi.

Best coffee I found in Columbus.
Super tasty coffee shop. They roast their own beans and have a great selection to purchase and take home as well. Tried the lucky latte and sweetheart mocha while in town and love then both. They have a great outdoor patio and are right next door to one if the best bookshops I’ve ever been to. Friendly staff and all around best coffee I found in Columbus.

The only catch is that the menu heavily relies on traditional Yemeni terms, which might leave first-time customers feeling slightly confused or intimidated when trying to order.

Recommend highly 👌
I had the Sana’ani Coffee and Golden Basboosa for a treat. Could not stop sipping and snacking. I have never had Yemen coffee and now I’m sad that I discovered it so late in life. Ambience top notch and this is not a cramped coffee shop it has lots of space. Recommend highly 👌 Jun 23, 2025

This place is a must-try!
This coffee shop is a hidden treasure. I highly recommend the pistachio latte, spinach and cheese pastry, and the honeycomb — all absolutely delicious! My husband had the strawberry matcha, and I can honestly say it was the best matcha I’ve ever tasted. I’m already looking forward to my next visit (maybe even tomorrow, haha). This place is a must-try! 1000/10 recommend.

Sipping a robust cold brew feels even better when you know your purchase actively supports a massive community of international artisans.
Operating as a tax-exempt nonprofit marketplace, Global Gallery Coffee Shop uses its sales to support local farmers and artists through ethical Fair Trade practices.
The space brilliantly doubles as a vibrant retail gallery, letting you browse unique handcrafted items from over 45 countries while enjoying your expertly crafted espresso.
They also frequently host local musicians and neighborhood meetups, boasting a highly popular, shaded outdoor patio.
Because the interior space is heavily dedicated to displaying their massive global retail goods, actual indoor seating is quite limited. This makes it tough to secure a workspace on rainy days.

5. Black Kahawa Coffee: roastery + bar

Website: https://www.blackkahawa.com/
Address: 2 E Broad St, Columbus, OH
Contact: Contact through website form
Hours: Monday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Tuesday – Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM; Thursday – Saturday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Black Kahawa Coffee stands out for its strong commitment to sourcing and roasting high-grade Tanzanian beans, a nod to the historical roots of coffee culture in East Africa.
That focus carries through into their pairing approach. They intentionally blend two different East African beans to build layered, complex flavor profiles rather than sticking to single-origin simplicity.
Their Zanzibar Spice blend is another highlight. It adds a warm, slightly sweet profile to lattes that makes it feel more distinctive than a typical café menu.
The shop also transforms into a bar at night. It’s one of the better downtown spots to unwind with a premium Espresso Martini after work.
The main drawback is the in-house roasting setup. While it adds freshness and character, the commercial roasting equipment can get loud, which makes it less ideal for quiet meetings or focused remote work sessions during busy periods.
Customer Reviews:
Definitely try this place out!
