5 Virtual Offices in Columbus That Made My Remote Work a Huge Win

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Quality of Service: I selected Columbus virtual office providers known for their professionalism, dependability, and consistency, as shown by their excellent online ratings.

Expertise: The virtual office companies must’ve been in the industry for years, giving credible business addresses, as well as reliable and flexible assistance.

Communication: Their staff should be prompt and responsive with replies, updates, and inquiries for seamless communication.

Range of Services: There must be a good range of services to meet their clients’ needs. This includes providing virtual addresses, handling mail, answering calls, giving coworking access, and offering receptionist support.

Facilities: I reviewed virtual office companies that also provide a strategic or central physical location, conference rooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and more, if needed.

Value and Cost-Effectiveness: While affordable pricing was prioritized, I also considered those with flexible plans and upfront fees.

As a tech guru, I’m always thankful that I live in a time when remote work is an acceptable (and respectable) thing. Nothing is more luxurious for me than managing my software development company from the comfort of my own home (or the beach!).

But years ago, there were only very few options for virtual offices in Columbus. And even if there was one that looked promising, I still had problems with poor mail handling, unresponsive client support, and limited services overall.

Though over time, I found a couple of great options with more virtual features that made my work life easier. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, small business owner, or freelancer, you’ll see what I mean from reading this handy review below.

How much do virtual offices cost in Columbus?

Virtual offices in Columbus will set you back between $50 and $150 per month, depending on the location, plans, contract length, and extra services.

Intelligent Office offers both coworking and virtual office solutions in Columbus. It’s been in the industry for over 3 decades, so I reckon it’s already highly reputable for your remote or physical office needs.

Right off the bat, I liked that it provides comprehensive services, like a professional business address, mail handling and forwarding, reception (call answering), meeting rooms, and the like.

But what I appreciate more is that you can easily see the starting prices on its website, showing the company’s transparency.

Not only that, but I also love that you can customize packages that feel right. This way, you won’t have to go with any generic plan with solutions or amenities you don’t really need.

And if your needs change? You can easily upgrade or downgrade your selected plan! For me, this showcases the company’s dedication to putting its clients first.

Although, I noticed that its basic or entry-level address-only plan might still be more expensive than those of others. I recommend shopping around for other options first so you can make a well-informed decision.

Pros

  • 30+ years of expertise
  • Upfront pricing online
  • Customizable plans
  • Easy upgrades or downgrades

Cons

  • Pricier than some competitors

Incredible Customer Service

“Incredible staff and customer service with exceptional attention to detail and genuine small business support. Highly recommend Intelligent Office Columbus for anyone looking for a top-notch virtual office and a team that truly cares!”

-Mr. Derek Grosso, Google Review

Great for Flexible, Cost-Efficient Business Presence

“I have used Intelligent Office (Downtown Columbus) for my solo law practice since early 2015.  It has been a great value.  The staff are friendly and responsive – they really care about their members’ needs.  The space is attractive, organized and professional. And I have been able to easily scale up or down in services, as the ebb and flow of my practice has dictated. I wholeheartedly recommend IO to anyone needing a flexible, cost-efficient business presence in Downtown Columbus.”

Versa is a Columbus-based virtual office provider that can give you a secure virtual address and mail while you work from anywhere.

I feel confident in its security, considering that the team will keep your address off public records. The team also guarantees that it will handle your business matters while doing so.

Plus, you can choose from 4 tiers: Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Basic. For me, this allows clients with most budgets to access a bunch of services. You can view its fixed prices online too, so I think there won’t be problems with surprise charges.

If you’d like its coworking solutions, I find it practical that you can book a complimentary 30-minute tour as well. Moreover, it’s convenient that you can choose from many meeting times on its website.

But if all you need is a virtual address or mailing services, I reckon choosing a package here means paying for other workspace amenities you won’t use. It’s best to weigh your options carefully and have a detailed discussion beforehand.

Pros

  • Secure virtual address
  • Multiple budget-friendly tiers
  • Free coworking office tour
  • Flexibility with tour schedules

Cons

  • Plans might include unnecessary features

Exceptional Customer Service

“Versa is amazing!! They do all of the little things right, from special events, to Apple Dumpling Day, to providing snacks, drinks, quiet spaces, and exceptional customer service. It is well worth the price. Michael, Jen and Gabby are incredible.”

-Mr. David Lambert, Google Review

Excellent Location

“Excellent location, big space (3 floors), with lots of room to move around for work and conversation. Grateful for Jennifer and Michael’s enthusiasm and assistance. If you’re looking for a coworking space, make the time to visit this location in person.”

From its name, Qwirk CoWorking is known for being a one-stop hub for all things coworking. Yet, I believe it’s also a reliable option for virtual office needs in the city.

For instance, you can get a prime address in Downtown Columbus, which I think can impress many clients looking for an accessible business location at the heart of the city.

Another option is just having a business address so your junk mail won’t build up at your home or personal working space. It’s also helpful that the team can provide you with a local number and a receptionist to take your calls.

And unlike other companies, I’m stoked that there are 5 virtual office packages here: Basic, Plus, Premium, Ultimate, and Platinum. The way I see it, this is considerate for all kinds of clients, especially small business owners who only need a few services.

That said, if your business needs more detailed services besides receiving mail forwarding and package services twice a month, you’ll need to jump to a higher tier. The basic package only has limited offerings.

Pros

  • Prime downtown business address
  • With affordable tiers
  • Flexible and scalable plans

Cons

  • Very limited basic plan

Amazing Virtual Mailbox

“Amazing place to get an office or a virtual mailbox and have an amazing staff that works here and is super helpful. 10/10 recommend for anybody looking for affordable office space or co working space in Columbus”

-Mr. Jacob Michal, Google Review

Superior Business Address

“Quirk CoWorking office space and virtual offices offer a superior business address for having a shared office for your business! The convenient parking and friendly office staff are unbeatable. For me it is perfect to be able to do my work in the court building and have my business office within walking distance to meet with clients. Thank you Quirk CoWorking for providing the best office space in Columbus, Ohio!”

Regus is one of the most straightforward virtual office providers I’ve seen in Columbus. It’s highly reputable for me, given that it offers thousands of offices in over 120 countries worldwide.

I also believe it has pretty much everything a remote worker or business owner might need. For one, you can get a business address with lots of locations to choose from, as well as either a Virtual Office or Virtual Office Plus plan, depending on your needs.

Need the best of both worlds from a virtual and physical office? You can easily get a comprehensive package for the two. This already includes access to meeting rooms and 5 days of office space each month.

Additionally, clients can use a dedicated regional or national number. Your calls can also be forwarded to your preferred number, or you can have its receptionist handle them. In my book, I think the team covers pretty much everything regarding calls.

My advice would only be to have a detailed chat with the staff about the costs. A previous client told me about paying for unexpected add-ons, so you’ll probably want to avoid that confusion right away.

Pros

  • Global network access
  • Many addresses to choose from
  • Flexible plan options (virtual + physical)
  • Comprehensive call forwarding

Cons

  • Reports of surprise fees

Outstanding Front Desk

“Located on the second floor of the Clark Schaefer building at Easton. Regis is a shared office suites operation and extremely terrific. The front desk is outstanding and their answering of our calls is a great Plus”

-Mr. Jan Zupnick, Google Review

Super Helpful and Professional

“We needed conference room space. Regus at Easton made it easy to reserve, I was able to come in and see the space in advance. They helped me work out the reservation to meet our needs. Oliva was super helpful and very professional.”

5. TKO Suites

What I like most about TKO Suites’ virtual office services is that you can select from the optional benefits you might want to add.

This could be a local number, mailing address, admin support, and conference room usage. Because of this, I feel you can truly get your money’s worth.

Its business address or “home base” also seems pretty well-connected. It’s located along one of the city’s major commercial roads and near COTA (Central Ohio Transit Authority) bus routes. If you have visiting clients, this would be very handy.

Other than that, I appreciate that this company seems quite lenient with the terms. You can easily go for shorter contracts without worrying that you’ll get locked into lengthy ones.

Still, I find it slightly inconvenient that its packages aren’t fully transparent online. Should you want to give this a try, you’ll need to reach the staff directly for more pricing information.

Pros

  • Flexible contract terms
  • Customizable plan add-ons
  • Home base near major roads and commute

Cons

  • Pricing details not shown online

Incredible Staff

“TKO Suite was newly renovated, with bright, modern lighting that made the space feel fresh and welcoming. The office space was very quiet which made things perfect to stay focused and productive. The receptionists and staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!”
