We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Service Versatility: We looked for companies that offer a wide range of stucco services, from full installations to smaller repairs. A good contractor should be able to handle both cosmetic fixes and more serious exterior damage.

Pricing Clarity: We prioritized contractors who make estimates easier to understand and keep rates reasonable for the Columbus market. Clear pricing helps homeowners and property managers plan without worrying about surprise costs.

Specialized Expertise: We paid attention to crews that understand local weather, curing needs, leak issues, and durable finish systems. The right technique matters if you want the stucco to hold up after rain, heat, and freeze-thaw cycles.

Company Reputation: We considered each company’s history, leadership, and overall reliability. Bonded, insured, and long-running businesses earned extra points because stucco work needs careful workmanship and accountability.

Finding the best stucco contractor in Columbus can feel tricky when every company promises a clean finish and long-lasting repair.

Stucco is a big investment, so the right crew should understand local weather, explain expectations clearly, and leave the property looking better than they found it.

Whether you are dealing with small cracks or planning a full exterior refresh, you want a contractor who can handle common homeowner issues without cutting corners or overcomplicating the process.

To make the decision easier, this guide rounds up local stucco pros in Columbus that stand out for practical service, real experience, and straightforward, reliable project support.

Address: Columbus, Ohio

Contact: (614) 907-4257

Hours: Available 24/7

Owner-on-site service is a big plus here because no one wants a mystery crew showing up with no real supervision.

We called to ask how their Spring Protection System works, and the explanation actually made sense for Ohio weather. It’s meant to protect fresh stucco while it cures, especially when spring rain shows up at the worst possible time.

They also seem comfortable tracking down the root cause of leaks instead of just patching over damage, which is helpful if you manage rentals or older homes.

The main drawback is color matching. They are upfront that they can’t match older stucco perfectly, so a small patch may still look slightly different.

But to be honest, we would rather know that before the job starts than be surprised later.

Pros

  • Owner present on every job
  • Spring project discounts
  • Weather-resistant protection system
  • Repairs root leak causes

Cons

  • Exact aesthetic matching is not guaranteed

Customer Reviews

Outstanding job

Rob did an outstanding job repairing the crack in my stucco. He responded immediately and came out and gave me an estimate the next day. The job was completed in two days and looks great. Highly recommend him and his team.

Highly recommend

Rob and his crew do excellent work! He promptly responded to our online request to repair the old stucco around my mother’s house. This was not a small job, and his work looks seamless, matching the old stucco better than we ever imagined. I highly doubt there is another contractor that is more knowledgeable than Rob. We highly recommend his company!

2. HB Good and Sons Plastering Contractors

Address: 2614 Scioto Pointe Ln

Contact: (614) 481-8566

Hours: By Appointment

HB Good and Sons Plastering Contractors feels like a strong pick if you want stucco work with more personality than a basic patch.

Under Brian Good’s management, the family-run crew handles custom decorative textures that can make a plain wall look more finished and intentional.

We also like that their quote satisfaction guarantee gives homeowners a little more confidence before committing.

Their online project gallery is helpful when you need visual ideas before explaining what you want.

The catch is scheduling. Since they handle both residential and larger commercial projects, their calendar can fill up quickly.

If you are also coordinating with concrete contractors in Columbus, we recommend planning ahead instead of waiting until the exterior project is already urgent.

Pros

  • Personal family-run service
  • Custom decorative textures
  • Quote satisfaction guarantee
  • Visual online project gallery

Cons

  • Possible scheduling delays

3. Sids Stucco & Painting

Address: 3854 Preserve Crossing Blvd.

Contact: (614) 327-8644

Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM

A clean job site matters more than people admit, and Sids Stucco & Painting seems to take that seriously. Founder Sid A. Meisner built the company around tidy exterior work, including waste removal without extra disposal fees.

Their Exterior Insulation and Finish System work also stood out to us because synthetic stucco needs the right training to avoid moisture problems later.

We also like that they can pair stucco repairs with painting, power washing, cultured stone, and even free trim touch-ups when needed. That gives them a slight advantage if you are already comparing contractors in the city.

The downside is availability. They are closed on weekends, so homeowners with tight weekday schedules may need to rearrange plans to get the work started.

Pros

  • Official EIFS certification
  • No waste disposal fees
  • Free trim touch-ups
  • Broad exterior service menu

Cons

  • Limited scheduling for weekday-only clients
  • Closed on weekends

Happy with everything

Sid did an excellent job doing both some stucco repairs on our 22 year old house and also painted it making it look new. His team was great, and made sure I was happy with everything. I highly recommend!! Also they have you work with a professional who helps you pick out the right colors.. bonus! Our house went from a boring cream beige to a more modern dovetail gray.

Incredible work

Sid’s company was absolutely incredible and if you are looking for a company for stucco repair or painting PLEASE choose his! He did not disappoint! He’s so communicative, and him and his team do such incredible work.

4. Ohio State Stucco LLC

Address: 4694 Cemetery Road, Suite 293, Hilliard

Contact: (614) 845-2548

Hours: Monday-Saturday, 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM; Sunday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Foundation movement can turn a small stucco crack into something that feels much more serious, so experience matters here.

Ohio State Stucco LLC is a family-owned team with more than 30 years of experience, and that long track record shows in the type of work they take on.

A friend used them for a tricky stucco chimney repair and said the crew handled it professionally from start to finish.

We also like that they are fully bonded and insured, which adds some peace of mind for bigger repairs.

The only practical drawback is location. Their office is in Hilliard, not central Columbus, so in-person meetings or quick drop-ins may take a little extra planning.

Pros

  • Decades of industry experience
  • Fully bonded and insured
  • Experts in foundation damage
  • Specialized chimney service

Cons

  • Office located in Hilliard

Finished project looks great

We called Ohio State Stucco on a Friday and he was out on Tuesday to give us a quote to repair our stucco. The project was started that next weekend and completed by Wednesday. His team was on time each morning, responsive to our questions, and the finished  project looks great. We would encourage others to contact this company for their stucco needs.

Quality thorough job

During a home buying process we needed the stucco evaluated and a repair quote. Jesse worked with our time sensitive needs and he squeezed us into his schedule. They just completed the work now and they did a quality thorough job

5. Reitter Stucco & Supply Co. Inc.

reitter-stucco-supply-co-inc

Website: http://www.reitterstucco.com/

Address: 1100 King Ave

Contact: (614) 291-2212

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Reitter Stucco & Supply Co. Inc. has the kind of history that immediately catches your attention.

The company dates back to 1915, when Gabriel Reitter started the business. It’s still tied to the family today through his great-great-grandsons, including co-chief executive officer (co-CEO) Kyle Reitter.

They are also a material supplier, not just a contractor, so their team has hands-on knowledge of the products going onto your walls.

The tradeoff is workload. Because they handle supply and contracting projects, their team can get stretched during busy seasons.

If you want summer work, we recommend reaching out early rather than assuming the schedule is wide open.

Pros

  • Century-old family business
  • Run by founder’s descendants
  • Direct material supplier
  • Profit-sharing team model

Cons

  • Diverse workload constraints
  • Busy peak-season schedule

Customer Reviews

The experience was wonderful

I was delighted that such a large, capable company agreed to do my small repairs. The work was a very good match to the existing textured stucco, much better than the two previous contractors. Their worker could not had been more courteous, neat and professional. I had to wait all summer for them to get to me, but I was billed for much less than the written estimate. Unlike most construction, the experience was wonderful.

Great results

I can’t say enough good things about the job that Reitter did on our stucco repair. The team, lead by David, did an amazing job. The worked extremely had for an entire week and were perfectionists in ensuring a great outcome. They work hard, are knowledgeable and friendly, and leave the job site clean after every long day. I have nothing but praise to offer Reitter Stucco and David, Johnny, Brett about their professionalism and great results. I would STRONGLY recommend them!
