I have this friend who loves sending us gifts and showering us with them every time there’s something to celebrate. Even when he moved to another state, his surprises didn’t stop.
Cakes and flowers would show up at our doorsteps, birthday cards are always on time—he even sent a gourmet basket when I got promoted at work. It’s quite impressive how he’d still manage to make it feel like he still lives by the next block as usual.
I asked him how he does it, and he just told me he’s got a list of reliable gift delivery services in Columbus. These shops are just one call away if you want to make your loved one happy, no matter how far you are.
How much does gift delivery cost in Columbus?
The cost of gift delivery in Columbus can range from $15 to $20. Just note that the total amount depends on the courier, distance, and delivery duration.
1. Sugarbush Gourmet Gift Boxes

Address: 7227 N High St #100
Phone: +16142621240
Business Hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, 11 AM–5 PM
- Wednesday, 11 AM–3 PM
- Sunday, 12–4 PM
Sugarbush Gourmet is a local favorite that has been operating since 1981. They craft gift baskets filled with savory or sweet assortments, perfect for lovers or celebratory moments.
What comes in the boxes is pretty much gourmet treats. There are fresh fruits, artisan cheeses, fine wines, and so on. These bundles are basically “baskets for all seasons,” in which they arrange the gifts by season. There’s even a basket of classic Columbus delicacies.
But of course, if you have a specific budget theme in mind, you can customize the contents of your basket.
These gifts start at $39, and most of their bestsellers are priced between $55 and $120, depending on size and inclusions. The entry point is pretty fair, but of course, it can get more expensive the larger and more elaborate the bundle is.
Their delivery service is pretty reliable as well. Many customers praise the fast shipping, often fulfilling local requests the same day or as early as the next business day.
The only downside for us is the limited availability. They’re only available four times a week with a 4–6-hour window.
Gorgeous basket and very prompt delivery
“Sugarbush really came through by delivering a gorgeous basket I ordered for my girlfriend for Mother’s Day! I have been to their local store but never used delivery before. Their store is awesome so I thought I’d give them a shot with a delivery order. Well, they didn’t disappoint. Gorgeous basket and very prompt delivery. Please give them a shot if you haven’t before. Sugarbush, keep up the great service!”

Highly recommended for corporate or personal gifting
“Our company has been working with Sugarbush for over a year and the customer service and experience have been top-notch! They are always very responsive, deliver quickly, and always deliver a beautiful quality basket to our clients. It was also nice because we were able to give them a price point we wanted to stay at and they designed a basket that is lovely and within our price range. Highly recommended for corporate or personal gifting!”

2. April’s Flowers and Gifts

Address: 1195 W 5th Ave
Phone: +16144885949
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9 AM–6 PM
- Saturday, 10 AM–4 PM
April’s Flowers and Gifts is another long-standing family shop that’s been serving the Columbus area for over 39 years. It offers handcrafted flower arrangements and gifts that you can have delivered to your loved one within the city and its surrounding areas.
Their speciality is making beautiful floral arrangements made from the freshest blooms of the season. In addition, there are gift baskets of fresh fruit and snacks, along with items such as candles and stuffed animals.
You can customize your own bundle or pair them altogether to make a more thoughtful and heartwarming gift.
Pricing is a bit on the higher side. Most of their signature arrangements fall within the $65 to $85 price range, while other premium options, like the designer’s choice, go over $100.
For the delivery service, they can accommodate same-day ship-out for orders placed by 2 PM on weekdays and 12 PM on Saturdays.
We also appreciate it when customers share that the shop is willing to adjust for time-sensitive orders, such as hospital and funeral home deliveries—even if it’s past the cutoff period.
Always great to deal with
“Ordered a birthday arrangement for my daughter yesterday afternoon. Today she told me she was working a half day! I called April in a panic, and she promised they would deliver before noon. She delivered by 11, and my daughter loved them. I first learned of April’s because I worked for the chicken place that’s not open on Sundays. We got our table flowers from April, and she was always great to deal with. Today she proved it again.”

Timely delivery
“I live in Alabama, but wanted to order some flowers for a dear friend who lives in Hilliard. April’s Flowers was super clear and communicative throughout the ordering process, and was great about making a cat-friendly bouquet since my friend’s cat is determined to eat every plant in sight. Timely delivery and LOVE that they’re a true local business. I did the designer’s choice, and they included all of my notes in the special instructions for her favorite colors. It was a really gorgeous bouquet with a good variety. Perfect for my friend!”

3. 3rd & Sycamore

Address: 650 S 3rd St
Phone: +16146742443
Business Hours:
- Monday to Saturday, 9 AM–7 PM
- Sunday, 10 AM–6 PM
3rd & Sycamore, formerly known as Tiki Botanicals, isn’t your typical floral + gourmet gift boxes spot, but a go-to shop for bath, body, and home fragrance products.
If you or your loved one appreciates self-care, this might be the place for you. Their products range from lush bath bombs and scents to essential oils and so much more.
The shop is actually known for its scent combinations. They have everything from fruity to earthy aromatics. They often bundle these creations into curated gift boxes that match a specific vibe, just like their men’s pampering and coffee-lover’s gift box.
As an artisan shop, they focus more on creating quality, handcrafted goods rather than on mass-produced ones. So, we understand that the cost of their products is high (around $20 per item and $89 for gift boxes).
But customers said that the shop does offer special deals from time to time. There is free shipping for orders over a certain threshold, holiday discounts, and a free item for a certain number of products purchased.
This would make an excellent shop to buy a gift for someone
“This little shop is so charming and quaint. All the soaps, bath bombs, candles, and perfumes smelled divine. I liked the sand & peaches scent the best. I couldn’t resist picking up a candle and a rollerball perfume bottle. This would make an excellent shop to buy a gift for someone, or to simply treat yourself, as I did.”

Made my 1st trip to Columbus even more special
“Please check out this great little shop when you’re in German Village. The owner is very friendly and hilarious! We enjoyed talking to him about bourbon. He was even familiar with our hometown. I love the unique scents….favorites were tobacco flower, fruit loops, and library. We chose some bath bombs to try. The best find was a candle poured into retro Corningware. The exact cups my Mammaw owned when I was a kid. A piece of nostalgia that made my 1st trip to Columbus even more special. I indeed revisit someday and definitely order online.”

4. Brownie Points

Address: 5712 Westbourne Ave
Phone: +18004279643
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9 AM–4 PM
If you’re sending gifts to someone who has a sweet tooth, Brownie Points is a one-of-a-kind option. Founded in 1991, this gourmet bakery is very famous in the U.S for its rich and decadent treats.
Apparently, it’s been featured on TV shows like “Good Morning America” and “The Today Show”. Well, it’s not really a surprise, given that customers from all over the country order their goodies.
While their product line is mostly brownies, they’re pretty creative with the variety. They have brownie bites, BrowniEmoji, and even gluten-free versions.
Even their flavor options are pretty inventive—which we’re pretty sure you won’t find in any normal store. Some of them are ube sweet cheese, coconut dulce de leche, salty caramel, and so much more.
And the best part about this is that you can individually pick the flavors you’d like to go in the gift box. And if you’re just in the Columbus area, place your order before noon for the same-day delivery.
Starting at about $2/piece for classic flavors and $4 for the premium ones, it’s definitely a great deal.
However, some clients noted that quality and texture can decline if shipping takes multiple days.
I will definitely support this company
“What an awesome company! I ordered the “I LOVE YOU” brownies for Vday for my husband, who loves little sweets at a time. UPS messed up the delivery date. I emailed my concerns, and Lisa, the president, responded!! She fixed it immediately and sent the delivery to make sure he’d receive the sweets in time. They were packaged so cute, we loved them. Not only were they presented well, but they also tasted great. I will definitely support this company again and again. Thank you for the cutest gift and amazing customer service!”

Ordering online is easy, and delivery is fast
“The Brownies are excellent. Ordering online is easy and delivery is fast. Brownies are always fresh. You can go in and order, but it is an office and bakery. The guy who helped us was nice and helpful.”

5. Christine’s Flower Shop

Address: 254 W 10th Ave
Phone: +16144211600
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
- Saturday, 9 AM–12 PM
Christine’s Flower Shop was established in 1932, making it one of the oldest florists in the city. It’s been a trusted provider of students, hospitals, corporations, and residents for generations.
Despite the name, their products extend beyond just flowers. They offer everything from fruits and gourmet treats to soaps and candles that you add to your fresh bouquet.
It was also impressive to learn that they’re the city’s only florist with an alcohol permit, allowing them to offer a wide selection of wine and champagne ranging from $19 to $300 per bottle.
And as a part of the university campus, they offer OSU-themed designs for their gift arrangements, which are perfect if you’re sending gifts to a graduate, student, or a Buckeye celebrating a milestone.
On the flip side, some customers expressed their disappointment regarding late deliveries despite having mutually agreed on a specific time.
Arrived well in time for the holiday
“I had a Thanksgiving bouquet delivered to my mom in Bexley and another flower delivery of a Thanksgiving bouquet to my brother in Columbus. Both arrived well in time for the holiday and they sent me pictures: both were beautiful!”
