A Must-Visit for Comedy Buffs
I’m a huge comedy buff. In both my experiences at clubs, and in speaking with comedians, this is consistently one of the best funny bones around. From the audience standpoint, it standard affair. Drinks are perfectly fine, food is fine (which is saying a lot for a comedy club, food often sucks) and the venue is comfy. From the comedians standpoint, they repeatedly say how the staff is very attentive and that the audiences are some of the best in the nation because they just get it. I go all the time and will continue to!

The whole place has a speakeasy feel, tucked up on the second floor of a restaurant, so there’s a slightly underground vibe the moment you walk in. Finding free things to do in Columbus is great for the afternoon, but spending the evening here feels like a treat.
A group of friends and I dropped in for a private booking, and the intimate space made it feel like the show was happening just for us. The room also gives aspiring performers two open mic nights every week to try out new material.
However, seating is unreserved and general, so arriving early is the only way to lock in a good spot.
They also enforce a strict late policy and will give your seats away if you miss the cutoff.

Intimate, Cozy Atmosphere and Talented Comics
We had such a great time tonight at The Attic Comedy Club and can’t wait to go back! The atmosphere was intimate, cozy, and welcoming, and the comedians were incredibly talented, especially at such fair prices. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. First Comedy Club Experience Was a Blast
First off, I have never been to a comedy club in my life, so I didn’t know what to expect. But I went with a bunch of friends, one who is a comedian who performs at The Nest himself, and I had a blast. Being improve, I was worried about audience forced interaction, but my friend set me at ease that wasn’t a part of the experience. The night we were there, a female/male duo did a musical experience. WOW! it was so good.

My cousin took her family here for a birthday night out and wouldn’t stop talking about it for weeks. Shadowbox Live blends comedy with theatrical storytelling, so the night feels more like a full mixed-arts show than a standard stand-up set.

Family Loved the Skits and Laughter
I got to share my experience tonight with my granddaughter and my great grandson and his girlfriend. He loved the music, she loved the dance and they all loved the skits. It was so fun to watch them laugh so hard at the comedy. My great grandson was from Ky and it was so good to hear how inspired they were to try and find some places down where they lived so they can experience live art.
