We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Comprehensive Service Offerings: We examined whether the contractors provide versatile solutions for diverse property types, including residential and commercial spaces. Companies that offer a wide array of application methods scored higher for overall adaptability.

Energy Efficiency Focus: A major priority was evaluating how well the provider emphasizes long-term cost savings and airtight sealing. We looked for businesses that actively promote reduced heating and cooling bills through advanced thermal performance.

Professional Expertise and Staffing: The quality of the installation crew is vital for an effective and safe material application. We prioritized companies using licensed, in-house installers rather than relying on unpredictable third-party subcontractors.

Customer Support and Transparency: Navigating home improvement costs can be stressful, so we valued contractors who provide free estimates and thorough consultations. Responsive communication and clear project scoping were critical metrics for our final selection.

Whether you’re a homeowner tired of soaring utility bills, a contractor juggling local building projects, or a property manager looking to upgrade your building’s thermal performance, the right insulation makes all the difference.

Just like securing solid roofing or planning a complete roof replacement, investing in airtight sealing adds long-lasting value to your space.

Finding the best spray foam insulation in Columbus can truly transform a drafty, unpredictable property into a comfortable, energy-efficient sanctuary.

Friendly and got the job done quickly

Super happy with the spray foam insulation service! The team was friendly and got the job done quickly. I’ve already noticed a big difference in my attic—way less drafty. Definitely recommend if you’re thinking about attic insulation!

Did an incredible job

USA Insulation applied spray foam insulation to our room addition walls and ceiling and did an incredible job. Forrest quoted us a very fair price and communicated with us throughout the whole job to make it a seamless process. The crew was in and out in one day and cleaned up every bit of their mess. Highly recommend them.

Finding a contractor who understands the building science behind a drafty house is incredibly helpful for homeowners struggling with uneven room temperatures. Greene Solutions operates as a complete whole-home energy efficiency provider, using comprehensive energy audits with thermal imaging to diagnose underlying issues before applying their spray foam.

Because every team member started as an energy auditor, they offer highly personalized, data-driven recommendations rather than standard, one-size-fits-all packages.

I recently spoke with a fellow property manager who praised their clean installation and deep expertise in tackling difficult crawl spaces. Their certified status and use of quality Owens Corning materials ensure that your living space becomes noticeably more comfortable and efficient.

It’s worth noting, however, that their premium approach can result in higher pricing compared to standard competitors, and their utility rebate processing sometimes involves a lengthy waiting period.

Pros

  • Conducts detailed thermal imaging energy audits
  • Employs staff with building science expertise
  • Specializes in difficult older home retrofits
  • Offers duct sealing and radon mitigation

Cons

  • Can be priced higher than standard competitors
  • Utility rebate processing can take several weeks

Sealed all openings with spray foam

I just had my insulation taken to R-60 to make my home more more efficient and the crew was very thorough and showed me pictures of the insulation throughout my roof! They sealed all opening with spray foam and got my bathroom exhaust fan up to code and ran outside vs just in my attic! The owner was very pleasant to work with! Seems like a great small business and I would be happy doing business with them in the future! I got a couple quotes and Greene Solutions beat them all for scope of work and price!

Their attention to detail is top-notch

Very professional from start to finish. They helped me stick to my budget by giving me guidance on doing part of the work myself. Their attention to detail is top notch in air sealing and for the basement rim joist spray foam. I’m glad I did this before the summer heat! The fiberglass is not dusty and itch free, so much better than cellulose. If I had blown on top of my existing insulation, I would have missed huge openings, mouse turds, and a birds’ nest.. just do it right the first time!

By functioning as a full-service contractor, they can even manage old insulation removal before laying down fresh material.

Just be aware that some of their initial inspections might not cover highly complex attic issues, and occasional scheduling changes could slightly alter your expected project timeline.

  • Offers multiple types of insulation systems
  • Provides old insulation removal services
  • Handles both commercial and residential projects
  • Uses advanced prep work to minimize disruption

Cons

  • Occasional appointment scheduling changes
  • Initial inspections may lack depth for complex issues

Very efficient and did not make a mess at all

Quick, efficient, quality work. I asked iFOAM to upgrade the insulation in my garage attic from R-19 to R-49. They came out the next week and within 90 minutes they installed additional baffles along the eaves of the garage and blew in an average of 12 to 14 more inches of Owens Corning insulation. They were very efficient and did not make a mess at all. I highly recommend iFOAM FOR ANY INSULATION NEED, including spray, foam insulation and batt insulation.

Very thorough and I am very happy with the work

Had a great experience with iFoam! Very professional and quick. They were very thorough and I am very happy with the work. I would advise the potential customer to make sure anything you need to have in place be there before having the foam installed, it can be cut but it’s pretty tough!

Quick/efficient and did a great job

Had a spray foam job completed in my basement. Contractors were on time, quick/efficient and did a great job prepping the area and cleaning up after themselves once completed.

Power went out a month later and we could tell a huge difference. House stayed quite cool for about 4 hours without the AC running. Don’t waste your time/money on the DIY spray foam kit Lowes sells. Its much cheaper to pay Mooney/Moses to do it. Be sure to ask for Jerry, when asking for a qoute.

They worked super hard and efficient

Mike and his co-worker were great. Explained everything as they went along. Was very courteous and cleaned up so I didn’t even realize they had been there except for the circles they put on the house. It was super hot and they worked super hard and efficient. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you.
